....  How come the alias in your post?  I had a decent time with her, turned out much better than what I read in the review.  There are two gals that work together from the same number so who knows.  The Kylie I saw was in pretty damn good shape and really opposite from what I read.

Have to say i was surprised by the review. I had an awesome time and it was one of my ATF's. Couple things from the review did not add up to what i experienced so i guess YMMV. She does have a great ass though and thanks again snafu929.

Historically, picture the first person to buy the snake oil in the old west. It's a secret partner of the snake oil salesman. Or the winner in Three Card Monte on the streets. Again, a secret partner who makes it look easy to win. It's deception, fraud.

There is a second meaning, though:

shill     noun
1. a person who poses as a customer in order to decoy others into participating, as at a gambling house, auction, confidence game, etc.

2. a person who publicizes or praises something or someone for reasons of self-interest, personal profit, or friendship or loyalty.

So, on TER, it's just promoting the provider, in the open. The self-interest is to gain the favor of the provider; and the hope would be to be treated kindly in return. Or sometimes it's just being nice. Or sometimes it's boasting. Or sometimes it's to post a pic they might have taken. Or some combination of all of these.

The catch is that shilling tends to carry a negative connotation in both meanings. It's a really bad choice of words IMHO, because most shills I've read are nicely done.

I don't think I've noticed any fake shills ... but haven't really looked closely. I suppose if it's a new client with no reviews, etc., shilling for a new provider, it would be very suspect.

That's why when you see a first time reviewer writing a review for a previously unreviewed girl then there is good reason to be suspicious, particularly if it is a very favorable review.

I think most shilling accusations are made because the shiller is believed to be particularly biased for the lady for whom he is shilling and may be getting (or hoping to get) special favors from her.

I guess if you click OK or agree without actually reading all the rules and regulations you can run the risk violating policy unintentionally.

The rest of the world.  See Vorlon's post nearby.  Outside TER a shill needs to have some expectation of compensation from the subject.  On this board, anything vaguely complementary is shilling.
