Not posting the link, as his mugshot is shown. He lived in Little Canada, MN. Dakota County is dealing with the murder charges.

I'm not 100% sure, but it appears the deceased was associated with one of the Asian Agencies?

she tried to blackmail him. I'm not surprised this happen, only it has not  happen earlier. last 2-3 years, there been an uptike in upselling, cash and dash, fake pictures, changing phone numbers and car dates along with deposits. If you play with fire you will get burnt. I have only one instance with blackmailing. I tried contacting a provider by text and phone no answer. later there is a message on my phone. a guy wants 3000 dollars or he will contact wife, family placed of employment lol. my ex passed away years ago both of us have no family and I am comfortably retired and you call my burner phone. I did see the same results on reviews on other sites.

Well.....

someone being jaded about being blackmailed doesn't come into "screening" at all.   IT is a bad person doing bad things.

One that ended very badly for everyone.  I doubt she was running this blackmail scheme on her own.

There was no evidence mentioned in the stories that it was a case of blackmail beyond his claim.
.
I'd go with he choked her out cuz he wanted to. Made up an excuse later.

Not his story. He told LE he left the hotel after the session and he didn't do anything. He shared the incident with a friend, and the friend reported it to the police, so LE has a better case against him now. He most likely panicked and didn't know what to do when she started blackmailing him.

We'll never know the full story since the other person is dead. Either way, he's going to be locked up for a long time.

Very unfortunate for both parties. The dude was young and seemed to have a decent job per his linkedin profile. The deceased was in her 50s and did sex work for survival it seems.

No, screening probably would not have prevented this murder, but the decriminalization of sex work would have. With sex work being illegal parties on both ends can super escalate situations without being able to rely on police intervention. She very well may have been trying to extort more money from him, which she or her cronies probably have done and got away with it in the past. MN LE are more likely to side with the sex worker at this point, so even if he did go to police and try to report it the first thing they will do is arrest him for solicitation. He panicked and did not know what to do. I do personally screen and have never had an issue with a gent, but I also do my best to keep my business on the up and up, am honest, and trustworthy. Unfortunately not everyone in this industry is, clients or providers. We need to continue to work together to all do what we can to keep this industry safe for everyone.
