This girl in the picture is real and a thief. I did a review on her immediatly after it happened. However, I would never call LE and tell them I got ripped off.

but, I find it hard to believe he reported it since he was participating in illegal activity himself.  Would LE not arrest him for solicitation in this situation?    I am not sure.   I would appreciate others opinions on this.

Filed a police report????  I doubt it would an effective response, but, I agree, the ripoff seems to be her MO and she should be avoided.

EDIT NOTE:   This was an attempt at a light hearted response...... WTF, no more hate mail please.  No, I didn't hear any 911 recording, this was pure FICTION by me trying to point out that a call to LE when robbed is problematic in the hobby....sheesh.

As one provider said, "it is only a misdemeaner" ,

While most would assume, & take the stance that calling LE when they have been ripped off by a provider is stupid.. some don't think that far ahead. We had 2 guys in Madison, WI last year who called LE after the girl ran off with the money & delivered no services.. they BOTH ended up with tickets for solicitation.

But, on the other end, there was one lady about 3 years ago here whose MO was to cash & dash.. & quite a few reported her to LE.. to the point she had warrants out for all the reports made on her. There was a sting about 2.5 years ago.. and she was caught in it, & taken to jail for those outstanding warrants.

News stories about that sort of thing pop up around the country somewhat regularly.  Usually both parties get arrested.

I think it's overkill to call LE when it's just as much their fault for not doing research.
Also to add "she has HIV etc etc is even more uncouth. Not sticking up for her by any means . I'm just saying it's overkill.
Thankfully he didn't get hurt.

Also, a provider engaging in the hobby while HIV positive would constitute a felony.  

There are any number of idiots who report being ripped off by a provider, but if this fellow's representation regarding her HIV status is true (admittedly a big if) he is doing hobbyists a favor by reporting her to authorities.

that he's at home on his computer writing about it without a charge himself?)
and laments the fact that he didn't have his gun, presumably
to brandish.

This business is soooo crazy sometimes!

How is it the guys fault? Or as much his fault...
How is he equally at fault or however you're justifying a crime he didn't commit!?
How do you equate his not doing due diligence to being partly (1/2) guilty of a crime?
You should understand that this criminal enterprise fraud-thief-faux-escort-therapist's
racket is bad for everyone.... You may need to reevaluate your view of ho's ripping off johns..

I was clearly noting on how when a guy allegedly gets ripped off the first words out of his mouth are of the following : SHE'S DISEASED BLAH BLAH BLAH you'll catch VD.
Now unless you have full access to her medical records & are prepared to prove it by showing them.
I'd say that's OVERKILL. It is.
If she's a ROB, she's a ROB no point in adding more to it. Makes him look like an ass.
Also who calls police?  Really? You're in just as much trouble as she is. Do you really think LE is on our side?
They won't even go after stalkers, even with a restraining order in place.
Like I've said MANY MANY MANY times over the years ROB's tend to burn themselves out of the hobby. You post a review that may work.  Not always because over the years I've seen it time & time again these types continuing to ruin a hobbyists day.
This is a small cow town after all. I suppose you'd also think it's OK to rape & murder her too right? Because well, She's a ROB & She should pay!  That's the other thing that worries me.
