END OF MESSAGE

Alright.....so, it's 6a my time here in Sunny South Florida and my phone starts ringing (Me thinks that this chick hasn't slept all night).

I get an angry message from a wife telling me to check my email.  I go downstairs to check and YEP sure enough there it is.  A copy of an email a gent sent me OVER A YEAR AGO !!!! Not a regular friend of mine but I instantly remembered him since he forwarded a copy of his WORK ID in his INITIAL email that was still attached to the thank you !

He went on and on thanking me for a fabulous session, blah, blah, blah.  She of course had reforwarded it to me and mentioned that it was nice to have him as a husband, if I want his sorry ass,  I can have him.  She also had CC it to his place of employment and like 4 other people (yikes).

Of course she stated the usual, stay away blah, blah, blah.

People....use an ANONYMOUS email that has NOTHING to do with your family. If you don't know how to clean your cache..or don't feel comfortable doing it..... Use an ANONYMIZER. It's cheap (under $30.00 a year ).  DON'T use a DAMN AOL account where the main account holder can get a new password for your email addy (as was the case here).

For the love of GOD....he just ruined his life pretty well.  What's the point in going out of your way not to give your first born when you get screened if you pull the switch and nuke yourself :(

Unfortunately, there is NOTHING that I can say or do to save him since she has too much evidence for a cover story.  All I can do is ignore her.

Please take a few moments to safeguard yourself against what WILL BE WW3 at your place....DAMN!

This has been a public service announcement from a provider that hasn't had any coffee yet :)

You would think people would learn??? Was going to say have a cup of coffee.. but you might just go a little bug eye drinking to much this morning!!....

Good morning Fletch :)

Well the problem is that there are CONSTANT posts about this very situation :(  Unfortunately, there are some gents that think it will never happen to them.

Never underestimate the determination of a suspicious wife !!! EVEN if YOU think the is not computer literate.

I am all better now that I have had some coffee.

While the nasty message wasn't the best thing to wake up too, I can just imagine the hell he is going through :(
xoxo

Missy
Thanks for the public service announcement, when I first got into the internet/email thing a number of years ago it was all so much fun...UNTIL I had a bad experiance at work with people forwarding things that shouldnt have been, none of which was related to hobbying but still things better off not repeated to certain individuals, I learned quickly you just dont know where an email might end up, so you just can not be to careful, so with the recent drama on the board related to emails, I feel good about my private email account. Although I dont want to PISS OFF Missy before she has her first cup in the morning, she's a fiesty little thing. LOL

you have to let things go and not keep them bottled up inside...glad to know all those sessions are working....hope they help me as much as you....

The angry phone call/e-mail from the spouse sounds all too familiar. I have read/heard a number of them before and there is one thing that seems to be the same. Women always seem to blame the other woman and tell her to stay away…no mater if it is in this lifestyle or not.  I remember years ago when I heard a classic line “Will you wh*res leave him alone!”

Come-on guys get with the program and make sure you have all your bases covered.

the mistakes are made while a novice. I still have some shit out there that could hang me if it surfaces and I think about it daily...  :(

I always emailed providers with my verizon email addresss. While I am not married the email address did contain my last name in it. I never realized what type of trouble that could bring to me later on. I had a provider tell me I was out of my mind for using that email address. Her rationale was that even providers I was not seeing would still have my last name. While it doesn't seem like that big of a deal in a hobby like this it is always best to stay as anonymous as possible. I took her advice and set up another account which I solely use for hobbying. If it's not pointed out to you it's something that you would not think about. The only advice I can offer to anyone who has read Missy's message is to set up a free email account to keep yourself anonymous and avoid the disaster that her client has caused for himself by not being careful.
