Like most subscribers, I expect the function of TER to be to provide critical and valuable information about providers and the business. This message board has disintegrated into a bitch-fest about nonsensical topics which are dominated by people completely self-absorbed with petty gripes.
Some if not most of the TER users could care less about using two names to post messages, or who is the moderator.
It is sad that you see fewer and fewer responses with answers or information for those posts requesting help. Instead, the vast majority of posts are about those issues that clearly interest only those people who are spending way too much of their time on this site.
Maybe that is the nature of these boards, I don't know. All i know is that this message board is generally a waste of time. It is like being in a restaurant and having to listen to the people at the next table argue about what color to paint the 2nd bathroom. WHo the hell cares?
I agree about getting some more substance to this board. I don't mind the banter or jokes once in awhile but the petty arguments really is bottom of the barrel. I appreciate all the links and comments about new ones coming onto the scene or just a friendly reminder of the excellant providers that are still providing good quality service.
I would like to seem more providers post or just some friendly banter. It would make it just more interesting to get their comments once in awhile. Personally I think we all could RAISE THE BAR on the conversation here.
The whole TC scene is not always as interesting as the posters wish to portray it is. Drumming up controversay, spouting off and general crankyness doesn't really leave much for Sparky to comment on. So as for only 10 times a year, oh I guess I must have had better things to do.
My asking for better information is something that I guess is a NOTHING post to you but to me I was contributing something of a more positive nature to the board.
Sorry if I offend you by not having reviews and choosing to use an alias so as not to get tracked. Life is full and busy so I contribute or lurk when I have time.
Seems to me anything here that is Critical and valuable would be posted in a timely fashion. There seems to be such a bad delay that the info is outdated :>( P.S. this message was sent 8/8/2005 9:10pm you be the judge how quickly you officially see it added.
