Welcome to the crowd!  I went a couple of years with no problems, then all the sudden got rocked with many no call/no shows in Jan/Feb/Mar 2003-- I think 6 in just that 3 month window, and those were ALL well known locals. April/May followed with the only 3 disappointing meetings I've had.  That bad stretch completely changed my hobbying patterns.

The positive side of a no show is the email the next morning that offers an explanation, an apology, and the question "How can I make this up to you?"
