Sounds a bit like Ireland. The saying is 'if you don't like Irish weather, wait 5 minutes and it'll change".
I appreciate the information, and i'll put my ad up today. Hopefully I'll see you soon xo

I've never been to Minnesota during the summer. I was there for a blizzard though. The year you had that terrible blizzard and a dome fell in. Anyway, I'm thinking to drive back to the east coast for a bit, and may stop in Minnesota on my way east. I was hoping you could tell me what to expect weather-wise if I go there the first or 2nd week of August

We have that label for a reason.  Sometimes we get more than one season in one day!  Last week it was hot and humid, highs in the 90s. This week was cooler and this morning lows were in the 40s and highs in the 60s. That's unusually cool for this time of year though. But you see the range that's possible. My advice is, check the long range forecast right before you pack, and allow for the forecast to be off, e.g. if it's supposed to be warm, bring a jacket just in case.  Enjoy your visit to the Land of 10,000 Lakes!  (We actually have 15,000, but we're modest folk.)

Be prepared for anything! haha The weather here is like a box of chocolates lol ;p But I am hoping it will be nice and sunny like last week, so all the pretty ladies can bring out their sundresses again :D

Take care!!

But that's just what it is on average; best to check the forecast before you come.

Could be humid, could be dry. Depends on what front has come through recently.  In the Midwest we can get weather in summer from the Gulf / South, thus warm and humid; or the West, thus mild and dry, or Canada, thus cool and dry. Can also get heavy storms this time of year.

So watch the forecast but be prepared for anything. Or bring money/cards and go to the Mall of America to get whatever you need.  :-)   No sales tax on clothing here!

I don't stay here for the weather but when it is nice that's a bonus.
Cheers.

We WISH! Lol, I highly recommend getting the weatherbug app and checking it frequently. This morning I burned wood in my indoor fireplace. An hour ago, I sunbathed. That's Minnesota, and it's common.

Typically, your dates for passing through should be awfully hot & humid. But it should be now, too. I should have no need to have a fire indoors but yesterday and through the a.m. today it was unseasonably chilly. Bizarre!

Peace,
