Thank you for the well wishes!  Healing takes time, but at least I can still walk...

Good morning!  After being UTR for some time now, I have surfaced as of late.  Unfortunately, the Universe has other plans for me for awhile, because two days ago  I crashed while riding my bicycle.    I was riding on asphalt, and the trail conditions were not the driest.  Going  downhill and turning right, my front tire skid, and down I went.  Really hard.

My left arm is fractured, as  well as my right hand.   My face got road rash on my face, and my lip is cut and swollen,  needless to say I'm not a pretty sight.

I won't be able to provide my clients my full attention for a while.  I haven't seen the orthopedic surgeon yet, they just put a temporary cast on my arm and a splint on the other hand until I see them next week.

Needless to say, I regret the timing of this occurrence, but want to thank those who have contacted me in the meantime.

Happy Hobbying, everyone!  Be careful on those bikes...

That's a huge bummer!  But at least your arm, hand, and face took the brunt of it--not your skull, and what's inside it.  Might not help with your aching arm/hand/face, but sometimes it helps to look at the bright side when Life knocks us upside the head (or arm or hand).  😏

Hope you're back on that saddle again soon!

Yes,  thank you for helping me look at it from that perspective.  At least I can still walk and talk (and lie on my back for certain pleasures!)

Wow, that sounds bad! But then again, the only thing i've ever broke was my index toe...lol
You seem to have a positive attitude so that should help speed up your recovery :) Hope you heal up and feel better soon.
The universe has a way of knowing exactly when to throw the wrench in your plan.

Happy thoughts, healing, and good vibes your way

I am really sorry to hear about your accident.  I have had a broken leg (with cast) and fractured wrist (with splint).  Both were many years ago.  It seems bad at first, but soon you realize that you will eventually be back to normal, though that does take time.  I remember my zest for sexual activity came back much before the broken bones were healed!  Though it's been a while since we met, I look forward to my lips and your clit getting reacquainted!  Though you may only feel like laying on your back with your arm at your side, rest assured I can take care of the rest!

Well, thank you...I am up for some pleasure after a week of taking it easy.  Went to the Orthopedic doc today, she put a cast on my forearm, and my right hand is in a splint (sure limits certain activities!).  However, your offer is much too tempting to resist!  My other body parts are working just fine...and lying on my back  with my arms at my side (and legs apart) is easy enough...blushing now.

So sorry to hear this.  I broke my wrist in a bike topsy-turvy last year; it's still stiff, even tho I had surgery.  Get well soon!

Thank you for the well wishes.  The doc is having me try to heal without surgery for now, but will keep a keen eye on the wrist in case surgery is needed.  I'm all for not going under the knife, but we shall see!
