Texting a cancellation?

A rather cowardly way to go about it. (IMO) May as well just NCNS as there is no guarantee the text will even get through.

Sorry that happened to you. Chin up! In the end, his loss.

can't people just pick up the fuc*ing phone and call if you're not gonna make the scheduled appointment?

Do you think the other person doesn't have a life?

Don't you think their time is just as important as yours?

Are you that inconsiderate in YOUR professional life?  Because this is MY profession.  Do you know what would happen if I would miss a scheduled appointment with any type of professional?

Do you know what your rudeness has cost me?  I turned down a gentleman that wanted a date because I already had one.  No, I do not call clients unless instructed to, so I won't call him and say I'm free now because I would hope he found some other fun.  And NO, I WILL NOT double book.  That is disrespectful.

I realize this happens on both sides.

It is just stupid.  Most, if not all of us have cell phones, and an extra 45 to 60 seconds to spare.  Unless you're in an ambulance or a hearse, you could and should find the time somewhere to let the other person know what's going on.

If you found someone else, good for you!  Let me know--I could have too.  If you booked someone else, well, however you wanna run your business, but, let the guy know!  He can find someone else too.

OK, I'm done ranting now.

Back to your regularly scheduled beautiful Saturday afternoon that I've missed the better part of because I'm sitting here in my thigh highs, heels, all done up, waiting for someone who is a NC/NS.

R E S P E C T is the name of the game.  Let's all play it.

Hugs,
JD

Giving you a big, warm hug!!!!!!!    ((((((((((HUG))))))))))   Can you feel it?

Yup I can!  Thanks honey.

All is not doom and gloom though.

I think I'm going to the Viking game tomorrow because of my post.

We'll see if things work out.

Hell, if I woulda known THAT was all it took......... ::Giggling

Hugs,
JD

guys, I had a NCNS and I am steaming mad!!   JUST KIDDIN'!!!   My guy was on time...in fact, I was still half naked!!  LOL.  he didn't seem to mind!!  OOPS!!

But, if you make it to the Vikings game, JD, will you throw a sponge brick at Favre and another one at our "Coach" Childress just for me, please.   I love the Vikings but we need some guys who can lead our team down a winning path!!!!

Hugs, Belinda

and some people seem to think everyone texts. The first time I wasn't using texts but since I have started I've gotten some responses that way. Do you use text? It's far easier not to have to deal with the person directly and just text a cancellation.

And I know that for at least some phones/services, you won't be warned if you try to send a text to someone who can't receive them.

Yeah, I have it and use it when I have to, but I hate it.  That's why I say they won't be answered.

I pay per text, it's not unlimited.

JD

But I have responded to people when they text me.

I find it a cumbersome way to communicate.

I had the time of my life, although I'm a little hoarse from hollering!

Thank you SO much honey!!

Never say die!

Thanks for the responses.  Let's all try to be a little more respectful and/or responsible.

Have a fun, safe week.
