I recently had a mild case of Covid and am now safe and immune. As a result I am no longer restricting myself to regular clients. Woo hoo!

Maybe not immune. Within the last week there's been at least one documented case of a middle aged guy getting covid-19 a second time. He had it in the Spring, recovered and was recently diagnosed again.

Yes. You are correct. Four people have been identified in the world so far. Statistically huge outliers given the millions of people tested.  They are not sure why or how or if it was the same strain yet. The odds of me contracting it again or passing it on are astronomical against that happening however.

I did not contract the virus from a client. I wear masks out in public. Wearing a mask will not protect YOU but it will protect others from YOU.  I likely contracted the virus from someone that was contagious and not wearing a mask.

I am a very low-volume provider. The only client I saw prior to my positive test was negative.

Or possibly one of the tests were false positives, no test is 100% accurate.  Glad you recovered and now are very low risk!

Thank you. I am still going to wear a mask in public because I have not had so much as a sniffle since March. This virus is so tricky. I am looking forward to not worrying about infecting others as well (Catholic guilt, Lol!).

It was just released that a Dutch woman was the first  person to die from covid the second time she got it. Small numbers for sure. Has everyone forgotten Trump's happy days when there were 15 patients in the US and it was a Democratic hoax?

Leaving aside from the small number of cases of people who have been infected more than once, we still don't know how long in general any immunity will last.  There's a real possibility that it may not last more than a few months or a year.  So, it's a tricky virus that keeps surprising us.

Recently i had a physical at Mayo, the question of people receiving immunity from covid after having it came up.Mayo response is there is no evidence of this,  infact the contrary exists. So i know bone spurs is spreading this rumor, you should realize hes a pathological liar, and is lying about this also. Im glad shes recovered,, but see her but be aware that she has the same as any other girl. Good luck, stay safe, and be carefull.

Yes it is a tricky virus. I had it. And, whether you wish to believe it or not, I am 99.1 percent less likely to get it or pass it on. Mayo is my medical center. But, feel free to continue to see ladies that are not likely to be COVID IMMUNE.

You had a physical?  I had a positive test at Mayo.  I dislike Bone Spurs a great deal but as of now he is probably immune like me. Yes, a mutant variant can occur. But so far it has been four humans out of 100s Of 1000s across the world.

Yes it is a tricky virus. I am looking forward to a 99 percent chance of being immune for 90 days or more.  Sorry I bothered to let TER MSP know that there may be a safe option. Just because some providers and clients are more or less UTR, it doesn’t mean they are less valid or truthful.

Look at Sweden death rate.  They had no lockdowns, no social distancing, etc.   They seem to have achieved herd immunity without ruining their economy.   Herd immunity implies ... wait for it ... immunity.  If the disease could keep recurring in the same person, they would continue to die off at the peak rate.
.
Some rare individual getting it again (if not a false positive one of the times) is just a statistical fluke.

Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany.  Compared to them, Sweden is a disaster.

Oh, Sweden did more things like social distancing than you think.  They just don't have a large percentage of the population that refuses to go along with public health measures.

The disease may not be able to reinfect someone right away but the immunity may not last that long.  We don't know yet.

and they have had a terrible time with schooling in particular. Poor precautions and wholesale infections.
