So I get an email that says Jennifer would like to be your friend click here to view her gallery and profile etc. I was thinking it might be p411 but it goes to xmeeting and it has my email for a user name and a blank account with no info on it that I have never created. Do you think p411 or TER or Twitter somehow sold my info or is this a standard marketing gimmick. Has anyone heard of xmeeting?

You'd be amazed at the level of creativity certain unscrupulous companies will go to to get email addresses. Id update your malware and anti virus software on your pc. Also run a complete scan. Also clear out all browsing data history, cache, cookies, saved passwords etc...I kinda doubt twitter would sell your info. That community would be on a war path.

Would love to clean my computer but I am on an ipad and don't know how to do that. Anyone have a good apple app recommendation for this?
