In any event, before you pick someone, I suggest this
1) Read the FAQ for Newbies board; it will answer a lot of questions
2) Learn how to use the search functions for the discussion boards. You ca often find answers for questions about specific escorts, etc. in past posts
3) Get the VIP membership and learn how to use the Review search function. Read reviews. Spend some time figuring out what you like most. Come up with a list of names. Check those ladies out in more detail. Things like rate, menu, incall vs outcall, any screening requirements; all of these will have a lot to do with whom you end up seeing. Once you've done your homework, come back with questions you still have. People are more likely to be helpful when they see you are putting effort into it plus asking such a general question is very difficult to answer.
Yeah, ive done everthing on your list short of paying for VIP. Im ok with a provider making money for the day but, I was more courious about a number. I get it Im not the only one looking! Is a low single diget number reflective of the industry? or are we talking double diget numbers? It all starts with your preferences. Obviously, everyone likes different types. Read the discussion groups and you'll notice certain names seem to come up a lot for good providers. It took me a few tries before I found a good one and now that I know what a good one is, I can tell you they are hard to find so if you get lucky enough to find one you like treat them well. Most of the higher end girls limit themselves to only a few clients a day, but I don't know if you'll ever get a straight answer on the exact number. As for the volume thing, get it out of your head. With the fine ladies mentioned in this thread and many others in that caliber and beyound, don't worry about it. When you are with them it will be all about your time together and what volume they do will not matter. I really think they are in the single digets. Right now I don't think there are a lot of ladies expieriancing high volume on a regular basis. I think you will find that there is a relationship between rates and volume, how they advertise, whether they have their own web-site, etc. There are many where this is their full time profession and others where it is very part-time as a supplement to their income. Obviously those who offer quickies and half hour rates will see many more guys each day than an escort that doesn't. Those who book dates in advance are probably seeing fewer guys than those who say call me a half hour in advance. Those are two ends of the spectrum - the high class escort/courtesan and the revolving door hooker with a pimp.

As for me: I have had days where I've seen up to three gents, days where I've seen none, and days where I've seen just one. I've never had more than three in a day and I've never had more than one three gent day in a week.

Now there are many reasons why a guy wants to know the volume of a provider.
1. A high volume provider at an incall location presents an increase in security risk from nosy neighbors, hotel staff etc.
2. A higher volume provider increases STD risk.
3. It is a guy thing. When I am with you, I don't want any part of touching, sniffing, licking, kissing or tasting any part of another guy.
4. For most guys it ruins the GFE part of the deal. It presents a mental block where knowing you have been with five other guys during the day does not make them feel so special anymore.
It is similar to the block many guys have when a provider counts out the cash in front of them. Many guys say, it ruins the gfe. I don't get it, personally I much prefer a provider count the cash in front of me. That way we are cool.
You are correct when you say many variables are involved but many guys tend to see things as strictly black and white. Also when it comes to the hobby, many guys become hopeless romantics as well and want to be the "only" one.
As for me I approach the hobby strictly as a business. I do have preferences but my primary concern is health risk and safety. I also tend to schedule longer dates and from what I have discovered, I am usually the only date for a provider that day. Many go out of their way to primp themselves and treat the appointment as a real date for themselves. In that sense, a provider's volume is the least of my concern.
Your questions will get answers as variable as the OP's. In general I think guys are into the hobby for different reasons and pleasures.
