I'm not sure what I did wrong but I'm reading all the FAQs and I can't figure it out. I think it's weird that they don't say right in the review what's wrong. Also, why can't I edit it?

Hmmm... I would think this would be easier.

Did you get a PM from TERSupport?  For the one review that came back to me, I received a message that told me what I didn't do correctly.

Near the top, it should give you a reason why the review was rejected.  You can also contact TER directly to ask for more information if that doesn't clear it up for you.

you are trying to review an un-reviewed provider

Three of my early reviews were rejected, all of them because the providers were delisted from TER.

You can try to ask them why but in my experience their reply does not always make any sense at all.

If you said anything negative, it may well have not been posted due to a complaint from the provider.  Doesn't have to matter whether it is completely true or not.   If it was positive, it may well have been because you were not explicit enough.  Never mind that you can find reviews composed of a few simple lines that were allowed during the same time frame yours was denied.  Like I said, it does not have to make any sense whatsoever.

Not sure how they expect to generate good will and full paying customers acting like that but it is what it is.  It also creates a number of side issues, like leading people to believe they have to embelish beyond their actual experience if they are to get a review posted.

I often wonder if the providers know how often good--even excellent--reviews of them are not allowed? I suspect this is especially problematic for relatively new providers.

There are some things that just aren't allowed, and could eventually result in being banned from TER, including the following:

- creating another user account and reviewing a provider previously reviewed under another user name
- posting on the boards with one user name/alias and then answering, in the same thread, with another name/alias by the same person
