If you want to be risk-free, you need to either be an a monogamous relationship or be celibate. Overall, I think providers are more likely to practice safe habits and get checked regularly.
Rimming and blowjobs (along with many of the other activities) transmit STDs, BBFS and BBBJ increase the spread of STDs through this community. These are facts, not judgments.
Also, if DATY is such a bad idea... boy oh boy... so are a plethora of other “standard” services that clients treasure. Almost every provider I know practices safer sex than the average person and still gets tested multiple times a year... myself- I go quarterly and ask for an exhaustive panel via every method (urine, cervical swab, throat swab, and blood draw) even in spite of some redundancy in the tests.
Hey JCL, I was wondering about your post. Since a post like this comes up every so often on the boards…since the beginning of the boards. It comes up on the boards when there is an article in the media about sex and the possible “disease” that you might get from having sex. Is this going to make you stop from participating in this lifestyle, are you a hypochondriac? Even if you use a condom during sex you can still get HPV, genital herpes, syphilis, public lice/crabs and molluscum contagiosum….I’m just saying.
I agree with vorlon and and miss priyarainelle about providers and how they get themselves tested…especially probably close to 100% of the providers on this site do get checked out. That would be career ending if they did “spread” something I learned many years ago, when casually asked one of my ATF about this specific topic. I was not worried that she did “have” something…but it was just a conversation. That was my mistake because she went on a rant for a while, about her regular testing, or was I accusing her of having an STD. Then when she gets home she sends me an e-mail about it again and sends me the results of her latest tests… It took a while for that to blow over…
From jumping out of airplanes to being lunged from a helicopter into the alps of an exotic “out of bounds” ski destination, nothing will compare to the rush of getting BBFS with a a hottie who is a complete stranger!
