This happened a couple months ago.
A visiting provider checks into a hotel that recently converted its elevators to doorroom keycard operated.
She gave her clients clear detailed instructions to call from an adjoining parking ramp and to NOT go in the lobby.  The low profile entry would be that she would ride down to the ramp skyway, pick up the client and avoid the lobby altogether.
An illiterate moron skips her direction and enters the lobby. He has no keycard for the elevators 15 feet from the reception desk.  So instead of going outside, he stands in the lobby and phones her complaining about the elevators.
This freaks him and her out, could have resulted in discovery and results in repeated instructions to later instructions.

there is a travelling girl that comes here a few times a year that seems to always stay at the same keycarded hotel in downtown MPLS. Well she brings you on a multi level scavenger hunt to find her. I have not seen her but I was on my way once. The reviews are out there, they are fun to read

A very highly reviewed visiting provider was here a few months ago. I scheduled with her in advance and asked where she was staying. When she told me, I advised her that the elevators at the downtown hotel she had selected were keycard operated and that for discretion's sake she might want to pick another location. She agreed and thanked me, and then I firmed up my appointment. When I texted the day of, she told me her locale -- the same place I had suggested that she not stay. I canceled, and she got pissed.
