"National Relaxation Day was first celebrated as National Slacker Day in Britain in 2001 and has caught on in the United States over the past several years to promote leisure and wellness activities."

What do you do to relax?  :-)

My goodness.  Your heart-quickening photo certainly didn't calm me in my entirety.  You photo exudes a certain 'Joan Holloway' quality.

What was the question?

Someone else recently made that comparison--I am flattered, thank you.  It used to be Ann Margret (which is the proper spelling of her name, BTW) but I think I like the image of Christina Hendrick's  character Joan Holloway better!  :-)

smooches!

Why must you post these pictures??  As if your not on my mind enough as it is!!! You are the best there is!  Thoughts of you always send my mind on a mental sleigh ride! MMMMMMM

As in "jingle balls, jingle balls,  jingle all the way?"  oops...that's "bells" isn't it?  :-)

If I only knew who you were we could go o'er the fields laughing all the way...bells on bobtail!

Thank you so much!  I love getting pedis too--these days I am doing my own.  So much nicer to have someone do it for you.  I think it is especially sexy when a man paints a woman's toes!  :-)

A rare indulgence, but most welcome.  Early mornking coffee on the deck overlooking the lake is also one of my faves!

That sounds marvelous.  I am especially partial to morning coffee by the lake.  The stillness of the air, perhaps a slight breeze with the scent of cedar and pine, the lake gently lapping at the shore, the far off cry of gulls and loons...perfect repose!

Sort of like Lili St. Cyr in her clear bathtub?

Wish I had one!!  :-)

For relaxation, I prefer to curl up with a good book or a gorgeous redhead who has read one.  By the way you look marvelous my dear.

Beautiful pic! Change of plans now, laying on the chaise lounge under the high trees, feet up, cold glass of lemonade, sunglasses on, eyes wide shut, thats my plan anyway!! xxxoo J.

and turning the pages of your tome is always a treat!  :-)

Wow! great pics! I love physical activities;-).Its a great relaxer....

When I need to relax, I turn on old school R&B or smooth jazz music and take out some acrylic paints. I love the texture the medium creates.

Also, I relax by fiddling with my website. I enjoy spending a Saturday night in with a glass of wine while creating new templates for my site (this is why my site design changes so often and is sometimes good and sometimes not so great). I look forward to the day I finally invest in the program Adobe Dreamweaver so that I may really let my creative juices flow.:)

I simply relax by doing something creative or with my hands.

Further, fiction allows me to escape. And I enjoy the puzzle Suduko. I have been doing it for years, as it allows me to completely think of nothing but numbers and relaxes me. I have always been a nerd.;)

Cheers!
Gia:)
