Is something special happening in the Twin Cities this week?  I'm travelling there for business this week and all the hotels are booked, and rooms that are available are crazy expensive.

Did you give Priceline a try? When traveling -- I use their Express Deals tab && get 3-4* hotels for roughly 60.00-100.00.

No, I like to stay at HIE.  There are so many, I can always find one in the area that works for me.  But this week everyone is booked, so I'm staying in rogers for a good price.  Just never had to go as far out as Rogers.  Happened once before, when the Fair was going on.  Just curious, thought maybe a big convention was in town.

I went to Des Moines when Garth Brooks was in town . and . Everything was booked  but " by the hour  " hooker motel " where I had to sleep !  LOL  imagine me sleeping overnight alone in a " by the hour " motel in Des Moines !  Funny stuff  : D
