contact providers

Contact the providers you are interested in and tell them you are starting out.  Many will do their own check on you.  But be prepared to give them some real-life information.  One way or another they are going to have to verify you -- even if you go to P411.

You don't necessarily have to give out real-life info

It may take longer to find a provider who doesn't need that but it is possible.
