After reading the earlier experience on the North Side..I too have a similar experence in the South Burbs (across the river) I was given  a wrong location, then was notified I should go to a gas station and wait..also wanted to know what car I was driving..I proceeded to drive around the area and witnessed a couple of marked cars driving around the area as well..So I think it is wise to stay with the ones we know are safe..
