I’m guessing there are guys on here who weren’t even born then or at best were teenagers. I don’t know what the demographics of the average TER-user are but let’s say if you were 20-something and hobbying at those places in the 70’s you’d have to be well into your 60’s today. Well, who knows, maybe there are a few who might have stories from those days.

I was only a kid(although a perverted type of kid) when this place shut down in the late 80. Keep wishimg I was old enough so could visit and see this hot women. Heard about some of the stories from the past. Damn I wish I had a time machine.

1978. The Royal Knight is on the south side of Lake Street. Only windows face the street with a neon sign. I’m 18 and a horny teenager headed down to the hood to pick up a 1/4 lb. Where I got my start way back in day the found others like cosmos the days of no appointments and just show up. Yes liked the cop check first time in did not know that good thing it’s what I like to do or it could have been ackward and would not have been seeing such great ladies over the years.  

I started this hobby in 1991 and went to several of these parlors before they were all closed down in 1997.

My favorites were the Emporium (East St Paul), Le Lenore's and East Lake Health (36th & Lake).

I remember the LE check, "make me comfortable."  The first time I went to the Emporium the girl told me that and I had no idea what she meant.  I eventually figured it out.  I saw her several times at the parlor and after she became an indy.  We would also have a good laugh about how clueless I was the first time I saw her.

I liked the parlors, they were very easy. You could make an appointment, but you could also just show up.  If you did make an appointment they honored it, not like the AMPs today which will give your spot to someone who arrives 10 minutes before you do.

The only limits on the menu was the amount of money you were willing to spend. In the current AMPs it is almost impossible to get over L1 service.  In some you won't even get that.  

How to believe there were once 36 or so of these establishments between the 2 cities.

Sure i remember the sauna, and massage places. Hit or miss whether you got laid or not, same as now.Back then, you either called a service, bunny hutch etc. Found a street walker, or maybe certain horel bars, ask a bartender, cab driver, or maybe they would solicit you in the bar.

my 2 favs were on Cedar (Relax a lounge?) and another I can't recall next to the 4 5's VFW in Richfield.  Always a great lineup and you weren't looking thru steel bars in a door window.  They had a couple gals that were very willing to jump in the shower with you to start the session.  I also miss being able to drop in to an asian parlor and enjoy an awesome table shower.  Favorite there was behind the DQ on the very east end of Lake

I like the lineups that were available in those  old parlors.  You could walk in and they’re all sitting on sofas and chairs and you could ask them to stand up to check them out better.  I knew shift change times so you’d get fresh girls.  Cosmos had the best quality girls in my opinion.

Massage Parlors

Yes, I remember the Massage Parlors. I was in the US Navy and my favorite port was Subic Bay in the Philippines There was one bar on the main street that if you walked up to the 3rd floor and sat down in a booth(enough for 2 sailors) a bar girl would give you a bbbj under the table.I remember one or two massage parlors on Snelling Avenue and 3 or 4 on University Avenue in St Paul. They both sucked. There was a Massage Parlor on Rice Street that also was bad,but a block away a mobile trailer was there for a few months that was quite good.There was another on University Avenue near KSTP that was real good. I went to Relax A Lounge on Cedar in Mpls that was very good,great looking women. I also remember one on Lake Street near 35W. I went to Cosmopolitan and the East Lake Street Health Club. I actually worked about 3 blocks from there. There was another Massage Parlor on Washington Ave in Mpls,about 2 blocks from Deja Vu,which was also very good. My all time favorite was the Emporium. The girls there were friendly and sexy. You had to lick their pussy first to make sure you weren't a cop. I had a regular there, a tall,beautiful,natural brunette. I would call in advance to see if she was there,I sure miss those days. As you can see I made the rounds back then. No games,no BS,no texting,no kissing ass to see a lady. It all  went to hell when the Feds busted Ferris Alexander and Rebecca Rand ,the Madam who ran Cosmos and the Emporium. I think St. Paul Mayor Jim Scheibel started closing them down,but, I remember going to the Emporium up until 1993-94.

Lee Lenores in St Paul and then many visits to see one young lady at Fundamental Wellness in mpls.   Seems like ages ago.

I was there at least twice a week and enjoyed 20+ different ladies there.  The place was part of a brand new construction building in the north loop.  One would of thought it was a high end place doing legit massage.  Funny thing is I walked by there today.  The ladies are still involved in facials but this time giving them.  It’s a Face Foundrie now.

These places were open when I was younger but never ventured inside, I was too busy with college girls. Anyway this thread reminds me of Florida.  You can just walk into a bar and get laid today. Oh, the amps have some hotness we don't see here.

The only one of these places that I had the chance to visit was East Lake Health.  This was long before i started hobbying on a regular basis.  Went in there one Friday night and was greeted by a 20 year old brunette named Michelle.  I showered and did FS with her in one of the rooms.  Good time, wish these type of places were still around.  I went into Night Lights to check it out a couple of times but did not have any sessions there.  

I got into the hobby around 10 years back and it was quite a different scene then. The girls worked in actuals studios instead of the apartment settings these days. Sessions were inclusive and no mention of upgrade for each little thing. No referrals/verifications was needed or blacklisting clients for unnecessary things. I remember my first time, I just called a number on a BP ad and got in. Nowadays, they verify like you applying for a government job.  

Just the other day, I was driving by Nicollet and 15th, and remembered the studio that used to be there on top of the grocery store. Ironically, there's a huge apartment complex there now that replaced the old building.

I started going to the Massage parlors in the late 80's. Those were the good old days for sure. Walk in service any time you wanted. A girl I knew started working in St. Paul. I spent a lot of money on her until she quit the business.

... as there were a couple on the west side and if you hopped over to Souptown, there were a few more.  Playboy Lounge on West 7th was a strip joint/bordello.  Think it was a $15(?) cover and you could bring your own beer/booze in with you.  Open very late.  If you wanted a session, you signed a single page document that you weren't going to do anything illegal, then you went through a steel gate door to the back rooms to meet your dancer of choice.  All nude dancers and quite often, topless bartenders.  Think it was open to 4 am?  For about $150, you could cover the cover, drink all night watching the 3-4 rotating dancers and finish the night with a romp in back.

There was a place in or near downtown St. Paul (very early 80’s) that had beautiful girls.  They had a 3 prices named after cars.  I believe the lowest was Ford (BJ only) and the highest was Cadillac (half and half).  The building had an unusual shape, if I remember correctly.
