Hey Kyla   I know, it's a typo slip, having done it myself but...it's spelled Minnesota!

The Ivy Spa, and many other spas may be big on trappings, atmosphere and ambiance but are you really gonna get the kinda massage you need for the amount of money you'll pay.  Probably not!

Most folks I've talked to say they get average to middling massages at the high ticket spas.  Often coming away feeling slightly let down.

It's those small out of the way, usually one person, places, the ones that, hardly ever get on the map, nobody seems to know about, are hard to find, with clients who don't want to spoil a good thing by telling the world, where the focus is on the massage and not on the pampering.  Ya know, the place where you know your money is going to get you a great massage

The only place I can recommend paying the big ticket price would be at a specialty spa such as  in Calistoga CA.  Something you won't get in your own home town.  You'll get a good massage, but you are paying for the delight of the hot mud baths, not the massage.   Like nothing you'll ever experience, again, anywhere else.  I guess a mud bath anywhere would be about the same, but that's the only place I've ever had one.

As for one of the best massage in downtown Mpls, and I'll probably kick myself for giving this info out, because he's really hard to get into but, because you're a quality babe I'll give it to you anyway.  There's a guy who operates a small shop in the Baker Center by the stairs to the Post Office who is reasonably priced and gives one of the best massages I've ever had.

You don't go to him for sensual or otherwise, seems really straight and I never got that kinda signal from him.  You go for therapeutic and the ultimate relaxation massage.

I've been a regular for years.  I've stopped getting massages at other places, even when I'm on the road. I'm got tired of paying high end prices for low end massages.  Now I just wait until I get home.   I've never had anybody work out knotted muscles like he does.

BTW, I completely agree w/you about the spa massage experience. They tend to hire new, inexperienced therapists and double charge their clientele.

I also know of an UTR gent that has been doing professional massage for 20+ years. Non sexual, totally legit. He spends over 2 hours on you for 100 bucks. You need a reference, so let me know if you'd like to meet him. He's in South Minneapolis and is available at short notice.
