Right on re reporting

She came to me for help and was sadly distraught.  After learning what happened, I wanted to introduce this scumbag to my fists.  I would assume this forum would be a safe place for this to get out to most importantly protect providers from also becoming victimized?

So far we know a provider was assaulted nothing else
This open ended notice does nothing to help other then warn to screen
First if she used references they should be notified
Second notify bas many providers as one can as  to who this person is but with handles and fake names is somewhat futile
Situations like this are why many providers want a real name and more - their body- their rules - and their safety——- your voice to supply what you see fit
Be safe out there on both sides

How do you know you are not being played? Why did she contact you about this? Did she report the assault?

While more information would be beneficial, I'm curious who do you want her to report this to? There are serious consequences to reporting within the state of Minnesota, especially if you are no longer within the age range of the MN Safe Harbor laws.

No info as to where this happened, but in most cities in this area including Minneapolis assault will take precedence over a solicitation violation. The woman should report the attacker to the police to help protect others, and also put him on any blacklist that providers use.

It says “physical assault”.  That implies it was more than a “verbal spat”.

I take everything JCL says with a grain of salt.  But if a provider was physically assaulted, I think she should report it and also blacklist the SOB.  That will help protect others a lot more than a questionable source posting here.

Notice I said “if”.

But I believe her best bet is to contact a lawyer who specializes in legal issues involving escorts to get help in reporting this to LE.

BTW, what do you mean by "and can verify?"

so if you have an established woman friend who you trust, and who trusts you, that is a much better route to helping the "young provider" than is this board.
Unless what you are really saying is that you have a hobbyist you want to point your finger at.
That's a whole different thing.

I saw the bruises all over her neck, arms, and legs.  The tears were also real.

Do you really think a provider will take the risk going to LE for being physically assaulted and raped?

As a provider I would like to know more details. Not on what happened but his email, name, any sort of details so that I can pass the information along to other providers in the area. I’m not sure what the rules are in TER for sharing email addresses or identifying information, but can you email the info to me? This is a serious matter and I know the community would like to be prepared in case he tried to book with one of us.

It’s not for Johnny to tell Her story, going forward.  But for her to tell her own story, to other reputable experienced providers.
So before this shit goes all sideways.

How about some of them speak up front and center on here and say , I’m making myself available and I know friends that may do as well , to listen if she wants to talk about her situation. And I mean somebody independent of player involved . That is if they truly want to help this young person. And not just themselves. This goes for Johnny as well . Give the situation to reputable provider community, If all went down as you outlined , Probably best mentoring she needs, Not dudes.

Already talk of putting someone on radar to watch out for based on what. This post.

Johnny isn’t the police, and we’re not a grand jury.  Johnny says he saw bruises but there’s probably no way for him to verify the abuser’s identity unless he (Johnny) was in the room at the time.  As you said, it’s not for him to tell this story.

There’s several steps the provider can take to protect other providers, even if she’s not comfortable going to the police: there’s blacklisting, the Provider-Only board here (if she’s not on it she could ask another provider to post the info—maybe a local provider who has access could offer in this thread to do that), and other back channels providers use to share info.

The police aren’t going to help her.  They wouldn’t get involved unless Nutbar killed her.  These are crazy times we are all living through right now with COVID.  However, absolutely never does a man have the right to physically assault and rape another human being.  It’s no secret why many providers are retiring during this pandemic.

... about the police not helping a rape victim who happens to be a sex worker. I can’t post links because the articles name names, but google “Minneapolis prostitution rape” and you’ll find several stories about how local LE prosecuted guys for raping or assaulting sex workers.  Physical assault and rape is a bigger deal for Twin Cities LE than sex work, unless that involves trafficking.

And your mention of an alias here does no one any good.  As I said, you’re not the police and we’re not a jury.  If you have evidence identifying the attacker, get an anonymous tip to the police or encourage the victim to report the crime.

...it was only a matter of time.
Knots and everyone else are right.
This thread is doing no one any good. Make sure your friend has an experienced (woman) friend who can give her better advice than "the police are not an option."

Nutbar needs to join the conversation.  I don’t think that it isn’t unreasonable.

You really expect him to magically appear cause you said he's name three times? You've been watching Bettlejuice and one of those Sherlock Holmes TV show way too much. Which one is better, the Lucy Liu one or the Cumberpatch one?

The other show was pretty good but Benedict Cumberbatch was an amazing Sherlock Holmes.

It is a sad state of affairs that so many are afraid to do so, but that doesn't mean they are all afraid to go to the cops if they are beaten and/or raped. Some hookers most definitely will press charges and the more this little hobby comes out of the shadow, the more willing women will be to stand up for their right not to be beaten/raped.

For the record, I spend a lot of time in countries where prostitution is completely legal and it's not uncommon for the hookers in those countries to report not just physical assault, but to call the cops on johns who are simply unwilling to pay, and I think its a GREAT thing that they can do so. If you have a "legitimate" masseuse come to your home, provide services and then think you can simply refuse to pay, you're damn skippy she is going to call the cops, why shouldn't sex workers have the same right to demand payment for "services rendered" just like every other private contractor.

Lucy Liu could probably martial art fight Martin Freeman. But Freeman's character was a legitimate solder as well. My money is on Martin.
