or do reviews disappear occasionally ?
I saw a couple posted recently and when I had time to go back and read them, they were gone. I'm only able to practice the hobby once or twice a year, so I put a fair amount of faith in reviews. Of course I also like to see what they say in their posts, info on providers website, and things like that.
Sometimes when providers don't like some reveiws on themselfs... they have them removed...
Some reviews are also posted falsely - whether good or bad. Sometimes reviews are posted in order to gain favor with a provider, and if TER finds that out they will have them removed. Also, sometimes negative reviews are done simply because the 2 people didn't work well together, the gentleman was not open minded to the experience, or they are just plain not accurate or consistent with the level of reviews - Candy's awful review comes first to my mind.
Reviews are a wonderful tool - and should be used, but also remember that one bad review in a string of a bunch of positive ones should not affect your judgement. Reviews are only an indication of how 2 people got along - and there could be a thousand unmentioned reasons for that, so take them with a grain of salt.
The important things in a review from my point of view are:
1. Are the pictures accurate
2. How was her attitude
3. Were services delivered as promised
The rest is just window dressing and storytelling - chances are that YMMV with every provider - you can't expect a drive-up window where you can order exactly what you see in a review somewhere.
Just my 2 cents!

As per TER policy, if a provider is not a "rip-off" and requests all reviews be removed, it will be done. A provider does not have the option to only have negative reviews removed, unless she can prove that the reviews are false. Also, TER has been known to remove reviews that slander a provider for no apparent reason. A review that appears one day, may be gone the next due to a "trouble report" being made by another TER member or a provider.
Some providers do have reviews removed, even if they are only slightly negative. For example, if they usually get 7 or above on appearance and they got a 6, the provider might have the review removed. It has happened.
I don't mean to be argumantative, but I would appreciate it if you could give an example. TER is very firm in it's stance that it will only remove reviews that it believes to be bogus, or if the provider wishes all reviews to be removed. Even then, if the provider is a rip-off artist, TER will not remove them. TER has been threatened plenty of times with legal action because of this, and to the best of my knowledge, they pretty much always come out on top. I have never heard of a provider asking for a review to be removed simply because the marks were below par, and TER obliged.
You may want to read the TER mail bag. It's located in the same area as this discussion board I believe. You will find many examples of providers complaining about not being able to have just 1 review removed. Also, there are letters from members complaining that their review was removed. As stated earlier, this can happen if TER believes that the review is bogus. If a review is believed to be bogus, it will be removed. Not because a provider simply didn't like the fact that a particular guy gave her poor marks. Many members do post fake reviews in exchange for VIP days. Also, some post fake reviews for a provider to make her look good. The worst of all though, is when a provider masks herself as a hobbyists and post very negative fake reviews of her competition. I have not seen this, but I have heard of it happening. Happy hunting.
I have had a reveiw removed awhile back.. it was on the board for a few days then it was gone..I did not rip this provider.. I just didn't rate her as high as other people did... instead of give her a 8 or 9..I gave her a 6 and said I had a nice time not a great time..that was my honest opinon..someone had it taking off...
Did you at least ask why it was removed?Chances are, some individual thought that it was a fake. Odds are, either the provider, or another member filed a "problem report". A reason should have been posted in your list of reviews.
So, all a provider (or someone else) has to do is say a a review is fake or file a problem report and the review wil be removed? Sounds like a good deal to me (if I'm a provider)! Bad review = fake! I guess the reviews that were removed were all fakes.
I'm sorry. I should have been clearer in my explanation. To simply call a review a fake will not get it removed. There must be some reasonable proof and TER will use their best judgement. Example: A guy writes a negative review of a provider and states something to the effect he closed the bedroom door before the real problems started. Now, in all previous reviews, clients have stated that she has a studio. I have seen this and I actually went to the providers place to confirm for myself that it was a studio. While the review did not really rip the provider, it was however false. She had only 2 doors in the place. A front door and a bathroom door.
Also, if a provider has never made a complaint and she has several reviews(even some bad ones), and suddenly disputes 1 review, it will probably be pulled. Not because she didn't like it, but because she believes it to be fake.
A stated earlier, some people post reviews simply for VIP membership. The reviews may even be positive. However, if the provider honestly believes that the appointment this individual claims to have had never took place, she can ask for it to be removed.
Also, problem report are for disputes about service, price, and other information in the providers profile. I have seen a providers profile that has stated that she was very bi and enjoyed. After reading all of the reviews though, there was not a single mention about a second girl or the provider being bi. It's usually a simple mistake made while checking those pesky little boxes. This has been happening quite a bit with the addition of the Porn Star box.
So, to answer the question. No, a review will not be removed just because a provider says that it is fake. Although, this is a big YMMV. It depends on the history of the provider as well as the history of the hobbyist. Since I never saw the reviews that you speak of, I am unable to make any determination as to the validity of them. I hope this helps.
BTW, why an alias?

Keith was it a review on Misty?I noticed a review on her recently got removed. The reviewer said she was older and bigger then her Pics. But gave her a hot time. Why would this get removed? If your pics arent accurate or up to date then post new ones.Or be honest with the gentlemen who want to see you?Just my opinion...Happy new Years!
I believe we need a wide range of reviews of a provider.Usually a provider that gets majority hot times for her reviews plus she gets a few nice times. The nice times are the most accurate review of the provider then the hot times.Thats why TER shouldnt take off a nice time because the provider thinks she should only get hot times or went the extra mile reviews.
When a man takes advantage of a lady, his review will be removed. I don't want TER to be a friendly place for men who take advantage of providers. This is supposed to be fun for both provider and hobbyist. This is the same reason I'm not available at 1am after the bars close down LOL
I saw a man on Wed the 18th who's reference checked out. We went to lunch and the date concluded after 3 hours as planned. He shorted me on the date, which I didn't realize til after he'd left. Not because he was unhappy, but because he doesn't have respect for women. I called the lady who provided a reference for him. At that time I found out he'd done similar to her. I didn't know this til AFTER our date and I wouldn't have seen him if I'd known this in the first place. The ladies don't have a place like TER to review gents and as you can see, our reference system needs some work as well.
If you want to question me about this, feel free to email me at [email protected]. As far as my pictures being accurate, they are. Not everyone has the right to review a lady. Do you truly distrust TER's review system?
I'm not thin and certainly not fat. I'm a mature lady and my pictures are accurate. I've never said I was anything, but who I am. I'm not the typical escort. Thank god we don't all come in the same package, it would get quite boring.
Have a wonderful and prosperous New Year everyone. We can co-exist if we choose to.
