Is this problem motivated by economics?

I wonder if this problem has a root in 2 separate causes.

#1)  Flaky, unstable local providers (not all, but perhaps a few?)

2) A serious downtunr in hobbying activity, due to economic factors.

Here's how these elements fit together:

Prices over the last 2 years or so have gone up, and FAST.  We grumbled, but we payed.  Suddenly, the bottom fell out of the market and fewer hobbyists were available for the local pool.  At the same time, hurricanes whacked FLA, and many, many gorgeous touring girls came to the TC, depressing the market further for the local girls.

Cue the mental instability that at least 1 touring girl exhibited, and probably several local girls.  They perhaps got sick of watching the touring girls take their best customers, and decided to try and run them off with threats and scare tactics.

Viola, we have a shitstorm here in the TC.


That's my hypothsis.

I haven't retired, but I have toned things down--a lot, and I wont submit to verification any more, even though it has cost me the chance to see soem wonderful touring lasses as of late.

Just 1 guy's hypothsis.

I've been gone for several weeks, and I come back to find all these posts about the sky falling on the TC hobby. What is all this drama about? I don't have the time to go through all the posts from the past month. Could somebody please PM me and tell me what's going on, before I inadvertantly step into a huge pile of steaming crap that I don't want any part of? Either that or post a link to the post(s) that would explain it? Thank you in advance.

I only take issue with "several local girls" - I think there's only a "few" locals involved..... VERY FEW!

Great theory and I agree with all execpt one point.  Don't blame the hurricanes lol.
Hurricanes had nothing to do with it.  I had written a post about a month or so ago that addressed all the new  Florida Ladies touring the TC.  

The Florida market is difficult and cut throat.  Rates are low due to all the different ladies available (wether they are legally here or not).  

Word spread that the Twin Cities was a great place to visit.  The hobbyist were pleasant, gasp...they tipped or maybe invited you out to lunch (off the clock) and showed you around etc. Just genuinely nice (Fl. is known as Candie land.  If you want an Asian, Cuban spinner with double DD's that bounces on her head you can find it under $$ so competition is tough lol) This started causing the stream of Fl. ROBS, B&S etc.   They thought that it was a place to visit and make quick cash during the "slow" season in Fl.  No tourist to rip a new one and the locals know them already.

Some wonderful agencies like Sophisticata, Miami Companions from Fl. actually deliver....others just visit with their lil' ol' 305 number and hope someone will take the bait.  

Some of us Fl. ladies knew how wonderful the TC already were and had visited here quietly for some time (wink wink).  I think that the scare will actually keep the ROBS and upsellers from Fl.  away for a little while since they don't think they will get the volume they want/need.  Especially since it is written on some Fl. ladies forums that things are hot.

Like everything other business, girls network to a point.  They scour forums on good places to visit. Word gets around that some city had great guys and plenty of them and booooom here they come :(  That's one of the things that I use to love about this community.  Everyone helped eachother out when it came to such situations and saved plenty of guys the disappointment of being ripped off.

I can't wait for this to pass....and it WILL pass :) This is a great community!!!  While I will miss some of my old friends, it's nice to see so many new names.
