No way would I give out my work information in this hobby.. A guy would have to be a fool to do that... There are other ways to verify...

What does this sort of "verification" actually accomplish anyway?  Isn't it just giving them something that could potentially be held against you should you cross the gal (scary part is who defines what "crosses" her)?  Boy this is really asking for a leap of faith.

Why not just ask for your boss's name and extension, as well as the full name of your wife and home address for goodness sake.  I could throw in my mom's name, address, and phone just to be extra verified.

I have been in this business for a LONG time, I have always gone on instinct when I am talking to you on the phone, if I have any reservations, I will ask to see your drivers lisc. with you covering your address. Knock on Wood, I have never had a problem. Oh I get the phone calls every now and again that are crude and I have been stalked once but other then that I trust my instincts.
I understand her concern but not everyone is open to a call at work so if I was worried about it I would just look at her picture and find another.

I don't know about being a fool but sure there may be a risk, but a risk of what?  It seems to me that we put a HUGE amount of weight (and I think rightfully so) on what we find here on TER. I have, like many adopted a policy of only contacting new girls that have reviews. I have seen others with higher criteria, but my personal minimum is 3 if the reviews look legit.  I feel there is an inherent risk to this "hobby" in general but that the provider" has a much greater risk and women who will meet me without requesting a verification to me worry me more because it CAN indicate their lack of concern for discretion or safety all around in general.

The provider is almost always ending up alone with someone more physically able to cause harm than she could in return and clearly also a woman "exposed" for this has a much larger stigma in society or at her regular work or whatever than a guy does.  

I was initially VERY hesitant to give out work information and instead did the often offered alternative verification method of giving other provider references and that's great if you are not in a hurry AT ALL and don't mind waiting while the provider you want to see finds time to contact your references AND then waits for them to get around to calling her back to solidify competition for themselves.

The work or business verification, also gives the provider an indication that you are serious about paying their rate also. It's a little different and I think understandable that they don't offer a reverse verification. They are the ones having to trust that when they set aside time and then verified or not the hobbyist actually shows he will have the money for her time and hey.....most will meet with the verification even if WE (hobbyists) don't have 3 or 5 or 10 reviews on TER..lol

Hey...I agree, don't go to a free discussion board like CL for example and be stupid and give out a bunch of info to a voice on the phone or worse yet an e-mail....., but finding someone on TER, with reviews and with a good website and photos (so I know it's not my wife---much higher concern than LE...lol) seems to me to be a pretty good risk/reward ratio.

to screen without getting work info or even personal addy info.  While our booking form calls for that our policy is to destroy all info except first name and last four digits of the phone number...most of Mystique's repeat clients in Minneapolis know I always re ask for a contact number...cause I don't have their complete number...and the last Mystique Lady they saw.....simple screening....

Usually two provider references with contact infor or a reputable agency referene with contact info is sufficent...of course you do your homework on that also.......

then with the data we do have we have it encrypted for the safety of all.............just my two cents worth but a very important question for all parties concerned....

I agree with Jack, there is more than one way to sceen.

While I sometimes accept work info for verification if the gent is completely new, it is my LEAST favorite method of verification and my instinct also plays a big role  I never go against my gut feelings.

Ted Bundy had a job.  Being employed proves nothing except that you might pay for my time.  Provider references are usually the best in my book.  I want to hear from the lady if he was on time, courteous or if there are any major hang ups with the hobbyist that I would rather not deal with (like that he only showers the 3rd Monday of every month).

Everyone has their comfort level...I guess that is hers. I don't begrudge any lady her methods of screening or her personal comfort level.

Like Jack, I employ a simple method so that references aren't a problem( I use one similar to his...first name, city and a code word with the last four digits of a phone number).

Safety is important for us all us.  I would be in a boat load of trouble if god forbid anything happened and I have the black book from hell.

Should i be nervous if a provider doesn't verify anything? At first i was like sweet now i don't know what to think
