Has anyone noticed, but I think this site has gotten slower than FUC* lately?  I try to do a search and it take 30 seconds to open up the search screen, another 30 seconds to go back to it....  and it is not my computer or my connection.  I surf the internet at blazing speeds everywhere else with broadband.  Some may think that it is acceptable to have to wait....  I don't though....  look at the "hobby" I'm in! just venting...

I agree! This is definitely a problem with this site. I don't have this problem on other sites.

My connection just rips along! I have about a 1 to 2 second delay when opening the TER home page, then once I'm in, I can move anywhere on the sight instantly when I click.
  I don't actually think it has anything to do with being a moderator though, because it works that way even before I log in, so I'm accessing the site anonimously, just like anyone. I don't think it is my connection either, I usually log in from various Dunn Bros. coffee houses around the metro, or my Verizon wireless broadband and when I do a bandwidth.com test, both only score in the 200 to 300 range. The only thing I can think of is I have a rather fast, bare-bones computer with a ton of DDR4 RAM in it, maybe it can gobble TER packets faster or something??

I'll say that you guys are not alone, I hear others complaining about lag too,,, I'll ask Staff if there is anything on TER's end that might be causing this.

I hate to say it but when you go to the other site and check things out it is extremely fast. I have had this problem for a while too. Using very new Dell w/1 gig ram. Cable modem. I don't know what elese it could be. It has to be a server issue...

I have been having the same trouble here as well

Judging from Bow wow's board activity (or lack thereof), they don't the traffic as does TER.

The TER servers were moved to Ampsterdam (I cannot discuss why, but it's a good thing!) and that contributes to the lag, but TER is constantly working on "stuff", so everything will always continue to improve on an on going basis......
