The latest surge in MN has made me nervous, and even though I have been careful with my massage favorites (no close face-to-face contact, etc), I am now pausing and not liking it at all. How are you all thinking about this?

I'd think you wouldn't really enjoy it all that much.  I'm considering pausing again myself.

I agree if you dont feel comfortable save your money for now. I went up to see some family and felt uncomfortabe. Then on the way home i thought its a good time to take a break. It seems like when ever i see someone lately im looking over my shoulder for a week.Just getting harder to tip toe around this covid. Anyway good luck, stay safe, and Happy Thanksgiving.

I got covid in May and got a positive serology and still test positive for the antibodies. I am happy that I got it and it was like having a bad case of the flu for about a week. That said, it is a bad virus and I don't wish it on anyone. Best part, it allows me to see all the absolutely stunning women without feeling I can spread the disease and respect their wishes.
No question it is spreading like wildfire

I got it in late February, traveling in Spain, or on the plane on the way back, just as  the first round started. Sickest I’ve ever been, although didn’t go to the hospital. Tested positive for the antibodies in May and again in August. Hobbies through the summer, but I’m taking a break. Latest antibody test was negative, Dr. says that’s normal, even if I am still immune. No interest in risking it, though, two weeks in bed and a month getting my strength back is enough for me.

I wouldn’t hobby if you are planning on coming in contact with family or friends that have an underlying health condition or severe obesity.  If not, live your life and cum hard!

I have heard the same among several providers... its dangerous and we should respect it, but this goes to show some of what we hear is just BS propaganda.

i got coronavirus back in august and got extremely ill im still not 100 percent i felt ill and i thought i was doin the responsible thing by canceling evening before an appointment and the provider who i will not name could have cared less and demanded money for session im not gonna share who the provider was but received threats of blacklisting etc. I thought this was bizarre during pandemic . i was unable to respond for awhile due to illness . If your uncomfortable and are thinking of pausing do it  . i urge anyone to be responsible regardless of your health and status because we all come into contact with vunerable people just my two cents

Sounds like a Tree stump with a skirt classic example .

If the board ho’s , numbers gave two shits about YOU, and you can back up that she threatened you. They would want to know , and cease granting verification requests from the Ho. But if this is a board ranked somewhat favorite , good luck them chiming in  to say this shits wrong.

Lesson learned ,your an ATM machine first and always.

Its a very popular provider i dont want to be attacked over it I enjoyed this provider in the past and  I want to keep the door open. the situation is currently not an issue and i mentioned it because as related to covid i believe this illustrates how many providers are viewing this pandemic and many are maintaining a strict 24 -48 cancelation policy which in my case wasnt wise for either of us or many people she would see in future good luck and be safe

Ok so , the evening before when you sent cancellation  notification first . Was it 24 hrs. And to go all bat shit crazy with black list threat . Now all lovey dovey with you . The Ho is playing you like a fiddle.

So your saying she would rather risk getting COVID maybe transmit it to others , albeit possibly unknowingly , if you hadn’t been tested. Now this is even more fucked up . Than initially.

Would you take same position if  all things equal,  it was just some run of the mill Ho? Or would you have less reservation to name her , even if wanted to see again?

Best advice  she knows how to use the ranking status on her own , and the lapdogs that would have been harsh with you.

Guess what it’s tough for a lot of people. For all I know maybe you as well.  Why is she so special, that’s the risk during COVID.  Ho’s are not immune to risk . Just sounds like another feed the starving children. BS crap she pulled on you. And if she suddenly changed course . Maybe the word got back to her via this post you originally put out. . Especially if you’ve seen her friends , and they know you seen her .

Name her don’t name her your choice , but it’s still messed up and politics as usual at work.

If she came back at me wanting a deposit and all that after I was telling her I was sick and she did not believe me I would email her back letting her know the sickness I have is corona and if I see you I could spread it to you and you could spread it to your kid or kids and then all hell would break loose. I am pretty sure she wouldn't complain about the last minute cancellation anymore.
Also a local provider (no reviews) told everyone on twitter that she had corona and took a month or so off. I never saw her and knew no one that ever did and it sounded like she lived from hotel to hotel but surprised she gave it away on social media.

I have a strong feeling this was a provider that I also saw that challenged my positive review.  I know someone else that believes they also were infected with Covid by this individual.

Had a Friday am appointment with a touring provider . Wednesday morning house member  came down with fever and chills.  That afternoon sent an apology and cancelation and received “ Thanks for the consideration “ really wanted to see her and hope not on her personal DNS list.
Not all are unreasonable.

Where you guys were talking about this. I don't get on here much but taking one look around it seems as if it is business as usual! I don't see any advice on precautions, resources for testing, recommendations for hobbying, etc. Where have our doctors gone?

The MN Department of Health has many in-person, FREE testing options available here:
https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/testsites/index.html

Order a test to take AT HOME while under your rock after your recent appointment, and mail it in! FREE! :
https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/testsites/athome.html

Some info from the state:

Anyone with symptoms should seek out testing immediately.

Symptoms of COVID-19 can include cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, headache, muscle pain, sore throat, or loss of taste or smell. Read more about symptoms of COVID-19 and what you should do if you have symptoms, including information on COVID-19 in other languages.

Stay home when you are sick, whether you seek out testing or not. If you leave your home to get a test, wear a mask and stay 6 feet away from other people. The COVID-19 Test at Home program may be your best option for getting tested in the comfort of your own home.

If you have moderate to severe symptoms, do not visit a COVID-19 Community Testing Site. Call your doctor or other health care provider or go to the hospital.

2) Anyone who was exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 should get tested.

If you had close contact with a person with COVID-19, you need to stay home and away from others (quarantine). COVID-19 can take up to 14 days to make you sick, and some people with COVID-19 never feel sick, so you need to separate yourself from others so you don’t spread the virus without knowing it.

The safest option is to stay home and away from others for 14 days. However, updated guidance from the CDC provides certain situations where you may consider ending your quarantine sooner.

You may consider being around others and ending your quarantine after seven days only if:

You get tested for COVID-19 at least five full days after you had close contact with someone with COVID-19, and the test is negative.
You do not have any symptoms.
No one in your home has COVID-19, and you do not live in a building with other people, where it’s hard to stay away from others and easy to spread the virus to multiple people, like a long-term care facility.
If you end your quarantine after seven days, you must still watch for symptoms through day 14, and continue to wear a mask and social distance from others.
You cannot end your quarantine before seven days for any reason.
The COVID-19 Test at Home program may be your best option for getting tested, particularly if you learn about exposure early in the 14-day window.
If you would prefer to visit a Community Testing Site, make an appointment. If the site nearest you has no available appointments on the day you’re looking to get tested, either look at a later date or try finding a testing location a little farther away.

3) Anyone who is still working at places that remain open during Dial Back, Minnesota, as part of a screening testing strategy. This includes critical infrastructure, first responders, health care, retail, schools, child care, etc.
If you do not have symptoms and you have not been notified of exposure, you are still at risk given how quickly the virus is spreading.

Make a plan to get tested at least once before December 18, 2020. If possible, get tested once near the beginning of the four-week period and once again near the end of the four-week period.

We urge you to make an appointment at a Community Testing Site. Plan ahead to find an available appointment, even if that includes looking at a testing location a little farther away.

The COVID-19 Test at Home program may also be a good option for those getting tested as part of a screening strategy.

Which test is right for me?
These tests check whether you have COVID-19 right now and can spread it to others.

Nasal swab test
A nasal swab looks like a long Q-tip. It is inserted about 2 inches into your nose and swirled around for a few seconds. The swab is then removed and sent to a lab for testing. You may experience a tickling sensation while the swab is in your nose, and after it is removed, you might sneeze or have runny eyes for a moment or two. Nasal swab tests are fast and accurate, and they’re a good option for most people.

Saliva test
You do saliva tests yourself. After you are shown how to do the test, you will spit several times into a funnel attached to a tube, and then seal the test with a plug to complete the test. The plug releases a preservative, which keeps the sample good for up to two (2) weeks, without needing refrigeration.  If you are at a testing location, you will then hand your sample to a staff person. If you are doing the test at home, you will put the sample into a prepaid envelope and send it out. Most people need 10-12 minutes to make enough spit to fill the tube. Saliva tests are more comfortable than nasal swabs and just as accurate, but they may not be a good option for those with low saliva production, such as very young children or people who have suffered a stroke.

Tips for Making a Plan
While testing sites remain open for walk-ins, we strongly encourage people to make an appointment and only use the walk-in option if you need a test today. Too many people coming without an appointment can create lines and increase potential for unsafe in-person gatherings.
Testing sites in Greater Minnesota and outer ring suburbs generally have more appointment availability than sites in the core metro. Look at testing sites near you to find one with available appointments.
Make sure you know what to do while you wait for your test to arrive in the mail and after you’ve been tested. Visit “I got Tested - Now What” for more information.

So I am sure I will get some grief for this because "the virus isn't real or "my body my choice" - isn't it ironic? Well some of you guys are older and not everyone is the healthiest pup - so I want you to stay safe and keep enjoying your life, ya filthy animals!

If  were hobbying I would meet once every two weeks or more, and check temperatures/consider testing in between. The at home tests are super easy, you can order multiple tests, and they are FREE - even free shipping! 2 day results! If No excuses anymore. I would love to see more COVID precautions outlined in the ads. The goal should be fun but the journey there should be safe as possible. With everything being free I really don't see the issue.

XOXO

Thanks very much for posting this valuable info.
One comment on the take-at-home tests: if you need a result quickly, go to one of the quick test centers instead. I ordered an at-home test on 11/17 just as a precaution and haven’t received it yet. It supposedly was sent out on 11/21 but UPS says they never received it.  No response from multiple inquiries to the test provider. Someone I know ordered a test from the same outfit on the same day and received it about a week later. Meanwhile, one of my kids went to one of the suburban test places and got the results the next day.  And as you said, you can make an appointment at those sites to avoid waiting.

The vault processing time has slowed due to the increase in demand. I am sure there is a faster way to get your test done, but the fact that you can order these in multiples, have them on hand for easy testing, and wait until you need them, make them a great option for privacy and frequent testing. I ordered a few and will use them if I start to feel ill or have had near exposures. FREE??? Yes thank you! You do have to upload a drivers license or ID when you request a kit, so you can really only order for yourself. And they are spit tests! Easy as can be.

... Vault finally responded to my third inquiry today, apologized and shipped another kit. I’ll see how long this one takes to get to me. Maybe they follow this forum and... nah.
I didn’t see an option when I ordered the kit in November to get more than one at a time, but it would have been nice to know that was an option.
After this I’ll just use my local quick test place if I need another test.

So glad they finally replied! They are probably getting so many inquiries. There is no place to select multiple on the order, you have to place a second order and so forth. I think it is worth it to have a few at home on hand. I have one waiting to go :)
