A very good point from you HF. That is that someone perhaps writing a review(s) to stay on VIP status. Either that or the reviewer has read too many letters to the PentHouse Forum.
If ya gotta do that, you are one cheap ----, gee maybe $20 a month will kill ya.
I just happened to read the one review, did a check if the reviewer had done any others(he had), read that one and got got to thinking...
False reviews both good or bad do not benefit anyone.

A quick question that I am curious about. This just came to mind after reading a couple of reviews recently posted. I won't say about whom at this point.
Anyway, after reading the two reviews about two different providers ( and by the same reviewer), I was just struck by the thought that either this reviewer is either a very good writer or I am reading a pretty decent piece of pr/BS? The reviews were very thumbs up.
Yes, it is 2 reviews on 2 different providers by the same reviewer... I am not sure how this fits(or not) but something to me doesn't seem right?
Especially after one of the providers was somewhat trashed on this board recently and the other is a new provider. Just going by a gut feeling.
And yes, this reviewer may have recieved all that he wrote about and more but...?
Just a thought and observation.
Sincerely,
SP00
Sky, good question. This is where you look at the reviewer and ask a few questions. does he have other reviews? Does he participate on the discussion boards?
A lot od reviewers will over embellish the facts and add things that did not happen. After awhile of reading reviews, you know who is right on the money and who is full of crap.
One fairly well known local posted a fake review using information about myself we discussed on the first call. I never got an appt. with her. It wasn't out of the norm for her, so I didn't really care, but it's a way to get their name back in front of people.

and I am sure some of the guys will chime in and let you about the providers...It sounds like one of them maybe Katie????

Soory about the first with this Subject heading. Brain dead after coming in from a run.
Good points so far. It was requested who I am referring to in regards to the providers and reviewer. So here is it.
The providers are Katie Monroe(good guess) and Savanah. Reviewer was "March1965" and listed this month, I think with dates of May 20th or so. Just read them both and I think you may get my drift on the smell test. I am not saying what is described didn't happen but...???????? Can you say Penthouse Forum Boys and Girls?????????
Personally, I have not done reviews and won't do any, just because of giving a narative. What happens there, stays there. I would/will give my opinions/thumbs up or down... for a seen provider on my part. Just no descriptions and the like. I also won't BS anyone. As always, YMMV.
DATY guys. Sincerely,
SP
Well Katie, is by far the bestlooking lady around but she does have some organizational and scheduling issues. If you get a chance to see you will be on cloud nine.
Savanah...not my type or style.
They are two very different ladies with very different looks and styles. Savanah got extra points from me for lots of reasons, but in this contect it was mainly for the BBBJ and DFK. It was especially the DFK for me. When reviewing each lady I tried to follow the TER review guidelines - start with a 7 for if there was intercourse and give extra points for extra services such as BBBJ, DFK, Greek, etc.
Katie is awesome, but she doesn't offer the two services mentioned above. It's her choice and I respect that but that's what I was talkin' about in my last post on this topic -- without reviews that go into some level of detail the reader doesn't know what to expect. The provider pages aren't always accurate. Sometimes they change their look, sometimes the change the services they offer, if they have a boyfriend they might stop DFK, etc.
BTW -- although I used to read my share of the Penthouse Forum in my younger days, it has been a long time so I don't think that's what influenced my writing. I had an high school teacher who once told me I was good at expository writing. I think this is the first time it has ever come in useful(or maybe not - depending on your opinion of my reviews). Also, I just took a look at MDL's reviews and I think I took more of my style from the Godfather himself.
Time for happy hour. I'll toss one back for all of you.
I am aware (from talking with the ladies) that in some cases the reviews are totally false. They are written by someone who reads other reviews for a lady, then fakes their own.
They are looking for credit from TER to stay a VIP member.
I know in a number of cases where the ladies have gone to TER and had these false reviews removed.
So, even though TER's service/review section is invaluable, there are those among us who will always lie, cheat, and try to get what they want at the expense of others.

I wondered if you were writing about my reviews, and since you brought my name into it I guess I should respond. The reviews reflect my experiences, which were indeed real. They were two very different experiences, but both of them were fantastic.
I chose to write the reviews because it was through reading other reviews that I found those two lovely ladies. You don't have to provide a review but then you're not really helping out the rest of us, are you? A thumbs up or down would be better than nothing, but it wouldn't be very helpful to me. I want to know why you are giving someone a thumbs up or down. Maybe you don't like the same things I do. Anyway - the reviews are real. Sorry you don't like my writing style.
I certainly won't say that there are not fake reviews out there, but in these cases I think we're getting good info. Katie Monroe is legendary. I've never seen her, but I think I'd tend to believe a good review, rather than not.
As far as Savanah, that's one I can vouch for. Well, maybe I wouldn't put my full faith in the three cups, but if anyone can do that to a guy who is in it for a total GFE, it's her. I don't know why his review wasn't grouped with the others (including mine) but it was pretty consistent, which is another thing I'd look for.

I wondered the same thing. The only think I could find was that I included an e-mail address and Savanah's existing profile didn't. Maybe that was enough to force the creation of a new provider profile.
I sent a message to the owners of this board explaining the error and asked them to combine my review with the others.
A Problem Report usually is the best way to get these sorts of things fixed, because Support doesn't have to go searching for the profile. Go to the review, and click on "Report A Problem."
Thank you for helping keep the TER database up-to-date. It's because of the help of TER members that TER is the dynamic resource it is. ![]()

The truth is really statistical. The number of
reviews as well who writes them matters.
Also, your two categories - real or marketing
tool - are not mutually mutually exclusive.
Real reviews can act as a plus or minus on the
marketing of a provider depending on how the
provider performed in the eyes of the reviewer.
Fake reviews can do the same - plus or minus on
the marketing side. TER has ways to protect
and correct against fake reviews but those
methods are not fool proof.
Hope that helps.
