due to the recent events, I can see why all of this invoked so much fear... if I can play the devils advocate for a second. Yes this is a business, but the providers can be scared as well. There is such a thing called an inherent risk. We all take it when we play. We all want to have steps we can take to try to AVOID the risk. some are better than others, and some are lucky. However. As guys, you have these boards and review lists, and back channels. You are able to "do your homework" and try to assure not only a fun time, but a safe time as well. The ladies, don't necessarily have a venue for that. If a guy is a creep to a provider, he is not going to give you a reference. Or if he is in the business of ripping a girl off, he will provide no reference. Now don't take this the wrong way, I am not saying it means having personal info helps either. Obviously providers don't use their real names. But as Chria said using a moniker or handle would be sufficient. Having a place where ladies can also do their homework would be nice. I don't know Julia, and I won't speak for her, but I think that may have been her suggestion, and then things got out of hand. Just my two cents worth.
With all the problems we have been having with info being kept and miss used you post of keeping lists and needs for more of them. Am I the only one not takeing stupid pills????????????

It is VERY surprising how trusting too many guys are with their personal information. This is what has lead up the the current situation that the TC area has been dealing with the last couple of months.
Anyone that decides to play better have your backside more than covered with cell phones, email accts, different computers and keep your personal information as far away from this hobby as possible.
There is NO reason to give out this type of information. There are many ways to verify a client to assure the safety of the provider.
A1 and mnencounters should understand clearly that any sensible hobbyist reading these posts about blacklists will not go anywhere near the agencies that propose them. And that in light of all the recent crap a number of us are prepared to do what is necessary to penalize (it doesn't mean what you think it does) such list keeping. Ydde is probably right to suppose that you are already keeping these lists -- at least in your heads -- and that makes you way too dangerous to do business with.
And the pills are unnecessary because the stupidity is innate.

Man, and I thought that I was the only one who really didn't like what thoose two were saying. They are both on my never use list.
I don't care about those stupid lists, but please don't expect doing business with me after you have publically said that you are legally eligible to carry a gun and actually you do. As much as you ladies are selective about which customers to see, we are selective about which providers to spend our $$$ on(seriously, do you ladies see us if we say we carry the guns too? I think NOT!). Personally, I don't see myself suffer from not being able to see any of the ladies from A1/Minnesota Encounters; there are plenty of local and traveling ladies who can fill in the space. Also remember vulgar languages are not very classy, and I'd rather be with someone with a little bit of class as your ad describes yourselves.
Take a break and get a grip. Would you prefer she be "legally ineligible" to carry a gun? Or would you prefer that she just be a vulnerable lady? Based on what I know she is a class act and you shouldn't feel threatened by her gun or otherwise unless you deserve to be.
We don't know for sure that these are the agencies. However, if it is, its a dangerous thing to say. Neither has the best rep for service, and comments like these wouldn't help.
Since mnencounters and mistery are both the same person, Julia/Amber, we are actually dealing with only one provider who has posted controversial items here and on the other board. Julia/Amber is correct in stating that she has history of very good reviews and I can vouch that her service is very good (although my review never appeared for some reason ???). I don't know what provoked these postings but she obviously felt threatened by someone. Regarding the "blacklist", that's what the reference system really is but I don't think it would serve anyone's interest to formalize it (assuming there's no list at this time). I for one have kept a low profile since the problems on this board last month and will not see any providers who want my personal info (i.e. real name, home phone, employment, etc.). I will, however, be happy to provide a reference using my board name or email moniker and that has always worked for me.

Back in the day.. (OH yeah.. this is an alias since I don't want my story to be some admission of some kind of REAL Service)
Oh I digress.. okay back when I first started.. didn't check references, didn't really do anything but go with the gut feeling.. anyway.. on a sleepy afternoon, I took a last minute call and let the person have an appointment.. seem to be going just smashingly good and he was all so complimentary and oh I am coming back.. yada yada... kiss my @$$. Then he whips out a check book.. dumbfounded.. I just got this sinking feeling humm well that is going to be just great!
So yup... NOT any good.. seems he likes to write them alot by the look of the teller.
Couple years (3)goes by.. hummm I get a call and this guy says .. OH you know my good friend so and so, would you see me. Yes, okay .. comes over all goes well pays me.
Two weeks later.. oh it is my birthday, can I do a two hour. Well sure honey... what a smashing time we had. Goes to put on his clothes.. no wallet.. gets a panic look on his face. Oh I must have left it at the restaurant that I was at just before, let me search my car, called the restaurant.. oh man that was my whole paycheck. I have nothing for you.. such a sorry sap I am for a good sob story, I bought the whole line and figured oh well.. Have a happy birthday on me! Kisses don't worry about it.
Month goes by.. can you give me a reference to your friend.. Miss High buck if you don't have a good reference just hang your nuts out to get smack.. oh sure she will be happy to see you.. oh god.. you know what this F*%& head did.. lol.. slipped a check in her envelope.. being I gave her the reference that he was okay... she didn't check the envelope.
Then it dawned on me.. OMG.. this is the same guy.. it just finally CLICKED in one big awful moment of clairity. He has been doing this for YEARS!
So when you fine gentlemen get your undies in a bunch about information being passed back and forth.. Just give a pause for thought of the crap that sometimes happens. I know it is part of the biz but shit happens on both sides of the fence and it isn't fun.

As a buisness owner myself, I feel for ya. I've had several people write me bad checks also. What I feel alot of the ladies on here need to understand is that they do not run an average type of a buisness. If any of theese ladies get busted and a list like that was found it would send shockwaves through the entire community. All of us. If the L.E. got the names of the guy's you didn't like, they can check thier phone records. With that they can get the names of other ladies as well. Check thier phone records, so on and so forth.... Not good. Unfortunatlly, the couple of us that read mnencounters post all feel that putting it on here is a bad idea. The agency in the same day had a post threatening to post names in the future, and also had a post stateing a need to keep info. Not Good. The strange part is, that is really the least scary part of it.

I read these types of posts that assume the premise that we are all entitled to the same "protections" as a legitimate business or consumer! That is the "wrong-thinking" mind-set that STARTS the whole cycle of distrust!
This a "high-risk hobby", not a business! In Nevada or Canada it can be a "business", but not here in Minnesota! Here it needs to be conducted in a much looser fashion!
I'm not moved by the sob-stories of rip-offs or bad checks - because as part of my hobby experence I like to see girls when they first appear on the scene - That's where I get me "kicks" per say..... In my choosing to be involved in this way, I also accept the risks involved in my decisions.
I have been ripped off, robbed, threatened, had my money grabbed at the door, had a girl lock herself in the bathroom AFTER being paid and refuse to come out, been told when I'm only "half-way finished" that my time is up and I need to leave, Had the"pimp" pound on the door and tell my to "get my ass out", been told that I would need to "pay more" if I did't want "problems", been told that my unit is "way to big" so there's no way she's going to go through with it and I'm only getting a H/J(AFTER paying ofcourse!), been insulted by being told my unit is way to small in an effort to humiliate me and cause me to go away,,, Just to name a few! And being the kind of "accept responsiblity for myself" hobbiest I am, I REALIZE that these "losses" COME WITH THE TERRITORY!!! and I always walk away from my money and accept the loss as part of the "risks" I take by being engaged in this "high-risk hobby"! I still average-out" good enough that I WANT to continue this hobby in this way!
I don't "call the cops" when I get threatened or stalked! I don't go on a "vengeance mission" to attack the ladies personally to "bring them down" by outing them to the public or their families! I just accept the fact that I am engaging in an "unprotected activity" and move on!!!!
The only recourse I have is to post here on the board a warning, and submit a negative review and hope I can save some other poor guy from what I went through........
It is my"humble" opinion that most of the problems are started on the "supply side"!
If this is your "occupation of choice" then accept the risks that accompany it - I'm sure the "majority" of clients don't rip ladies off, just like the "majority" of providers don't con men out of money - Quit trying to make "market-place utopia"! The more we try to "regulate" the more burden we put on the whole system and the further the two sides get from being able function together!

I've had quite a bit of the same stuff happen to me over the years, and have even had a provider contact my wife and "out" me. It sucks, but to me it doesn't suck as bad as quitting... tried that, but always come back.
