Misty!!  I was hoping May would be a well kept secret. Oh well, naive me. I also thought Sadaam was dead.

I would vote for the higher hourly for new clients, $$$$, with a somewhat lower for repeat.
I can't wait to spend my $$$$.

Not that you'd like either of the two, but sometimes too many requests make it difficult to keep up.

Would you prefer a lady raise her hourly rate or ask for a 2 hour minimum?

Alternative ideas are appreciated

A two hour minimum would be the most preferable of the two, assuming of course, that any lady taking this approach would have your great charm and wittiness. Otherwise, two hours could seem like a long time.

many times 2 hours is very difficult to find the free time.  With travel time to and fro...2 hours can be tough to clear  from schedule.

I should mention that I assumed Misty's question was referring to new clients. I would expect that repeat clients would work out whatever arrangements fit their needs.

Its all a dollars and sense issue - At a current rate of $300 I am sure a 2 hour session would be $600 as I have seen some charge. That gets a little pricey and I believe out of the reach of many potentially good clients. I believe raising the rate for 1 hour if needed is a better approach

Just my 2 cents -- Just don't do it to me HAHAHAHA!!!!!

Ah to be young, incredibly beautiful and only available for a few more months LOL.

What if she asked 400 the first hour/new friends and 300 for subsequent dates?  Would that be asking too much?  Keep in mind, she's booked a week in advance and has limited availability.

BTW, the rate hike isn't to be greedy.  Sometimes it's just plain old easier to answer 5 emails rather than 10 when you have to tell everyone, sorry... next week is the earliest you can see my friend.

The 2 hour minimum may have timing issues for a lot of guys. I would think increasing the hourly rate would be a better option unless you are trying to get a lower number of people tpo see but at a higher cost.  You also may loose some potentiual business by pricing yourself out of their range.

Well, just a thought for you to consider.  If May's services are bumped up a notch (you know what I mean), I think she will get more with absolutely no problem....You can always decide to reconsider after you see what the traffic does.

May is gorgeous, as you know, and as she learns more, she should earn more....My two bits....!!

A couple years ago Sammi had the same problem.
She raised her rate to $400 for the first visit.
That solved the problem and kept everyone happy.

Misty,

I would charge a higher 1st hour rate, with a lower rate for multiple hour appointments.  i.e. $400 the 1st hour, $200-250 per hour for each additional hour.
