Horror of horrors - as in what's the big deal? It's just the flu! Simple ignorance, if you get it, and I hope you don't, you'll understand. This thing wiil put you down for two solid weeks. And that's if you're healthy to begin with, if you're not it can be life-threatening. So at the very least you've got lost income from missing work and worse than that there's a very good chance you'll spread it before you even realize you have it.

All this provider would have had to do was take a break for 3-4 days, it's not contagious after that. And I'm sure this particular provider, having been around for quite a while, knows that.

I went to see a local provider last saturday, I noticed she coughed a couple of times and sounded a little weezy but when I asked her how she was feeling she said fine. The very next day I started feeling punky, got worse and worse, I ended up going in to the clinic yesterday and found out I have full blown influenza A. Let me tell you, this is some miserable shit, I wouldn't wish this on anyone!

I can't believe for a minute that somebody could have this flu and be feeling fine, so the only conclusion I can come to is that this provider intentionally lied knowing that she was putting me and all her other customers at risk.

God is there no limit to greed?!!

Dude,
Incubation period is more like 3-4 days. No way did she give it to you. What honey were you swapping spit with 3-4 days earlier?

As I recall, it takes a week for the flu virus to incubate and you will see the symptons. You may have given her the virus!

sometimes eating takeout and going south of the border can have some serious reprocussions...  try practicing safer takeout! Just a thought... Flu does take time to encubate but the other can get you fast... within 24 or less
