Steph, Let me give you a piece of advice.  This is a very educated and informed board.  Your statement of "the only way to find out is to try me out" does not cut it.  If you have a pic, website of care to step up to the plate for an ad on TC uncovered or Eros, this will help your cause much better.

Most hobbyists do NOT like going in blind not knowiing what to expect in the least bit!
