When contacting a lady with references using only body rub ladies & maybe 1 escort you've seen 6 months ago or more is NOT sufficient for most of us.
 Ladies, what are your thoughts, am I wrong in feeling like the majority of body rub ladies don't do the same kind of screening as escorts, and how about when the only escort reference is outdated or suddenly ( they are) gone, maybe it's just me but my intuition says that when it quacks like a duck..

What I'm trying to do now is see a few providers other than my ATF, so I have a few references, and hopefully some whitelists.  As for the whole "trafficking" panic going on these days, it reminds me of the "Satanic Panic" that rocked the American church in the late 80s and early 90s.

Compard to a couple of years ago massage provider screening is way ahead of where it was.  
Some are as careful as the FS providers.
If dealing with references one needs to have an idea of who you are getting it from.

No provider is worth giving your real information. You should ask her to delete all your info if you hear back from her. You do realize you're participating in something illegal don't you?

 That was on October 6th, and since then no response when I've asked for updates if I could assist in any way.  The appointment was supposed to be for this Friday  
   
 This is a highly reputable provider, I not only provided multiple references but also legitimate references (FB, LinkedIn, employement) - so I'm surprised with the lack of response.  Even a denial due to lack of ability to confirm (references not getting back to her, etc) would be understandable.  I've wanted to see her for a long time, and now finally mustered the courage to put in references to provide confidence.  
   
 It's disappointing to say the least - I fully support the screening process, but only submit info outside of provider references when it's a confirmed legit, highly reviewed provider.  
   
 Any thoughts?  I don't want to bother her or call/text to follow up...is this a "get the hint" moment or what do you all think?

I think that most body rub only providers don't screen as thoroughly as escorts due to being higher volume by nature, the booking process is faster and that any guy who uses a 3 yr old reference needs to get out more or start over again with some kind of verification service because a lot can happen in 6+ months or longer.
 I know I won't vouch for them I'm pretty much like;
Oh' you saw me 2 years ago? Nope, I won't vouch for you.  
Don't even ask. Because chances are I will not remember you.

I actually had a very well known fs provider go through this very same process with me when I saw her multiple times last fall. She was the only girl that ever told me that "massage" girl references weren't as reliable as "fs" providers. I can bet this is that same girl.

... I don't know why it needs to be painted as a body rub vs. FS thing. I know many non-FS providers who do thorough screening--either by themselves, or through their assistants. And from what I've observed in TER over the years, several FS providers have gotten into bad situations due to inadequate screening.
