I know this topic was covered a couple of months ago, but what is someone new, like myself, supposed to do when nearly every girl I want to see reqired a reference?  The only girl I have been able to see won't give references.  I realize that I am picky, but the 5 or 6 girls I've tried to set up an appointment with won't even think of seeing me, and I am willing to verify my employment and do anything I can to ease their minds.  The last time this topic was discussed, a couple of the ladies that post often said "just talk to them about your situation and most girls will understand", but that doesn't work!  Does anyone have suggestions or help?  I don't want to have to settle for the girls with bad reviews and reputations, I would like to think I inform myself for a reason.  Thanks for reading my rant!
