Suzy4u,  I was speaking in GENERALITIES.  I am a salesman and when I go to make a sale I am highly charged with the anticipation, but sex is in an entirely different arena.  When a man sees a "provider" he GENERALLY is anticipating something that will, at least, temporarily remove all negativity from his life while, at the same time, he gets his rocks off.  If it was just to get his rocks off, he could fly sole and get that job done a lot cheaper.  No, I think the motivation for the session is GENERALLY different for the client than it is for the "provider".  And I am not pointing that out as a criticism of the provider.  It is GENEREALLY just a fact of life.  After all, the "provider" in this biz has a very lucrative market upon which to draw.  If she misses one appointment, or even several, her career is not destroyed.  The  nature of man is to always want what she has.  If she were selling insurance or real estate the playing field would be more level.  But again, I am speaking only in GENERALITIES.  I also know that I have been guilty of allowing my disappointment over a skipped appointment to come out in less than kind words. I guess we just have to try to be more understanding of each other and try to feel what the other is experiencing.

Had an appointment with a prominent provider yesterday and she was a noshow. I have seen her a number of times and believe I should have had the respect of a phone call or email. No outing, but I will never contact her again. My time is just as important as her's.

Unless she comes up with a satisfactory response as to why she no-showed, without a call, you should out her. I dont wanna be stung like that if I call her and make an appt.

It's only common courtesy to call.....I wouldn't even do that with my hair dresser.  Everyone's time is important. This is a service business.  WE are the business owners, and YOU are the clients, just like any other business.....good ethics are good for the client as well as the provider.  Even more so for the provider...without happy clients, we have nothing.  Word of mouth goes a long way....

Having been on your end of this more than once, I know how you feel.  However, what if you do hear from her soon and she offers a reasonable explanation?  It won't hurt to make at least some what of an effort to find out why this happened.

You see, for the lady it is just another business appointment.  For the guy it is a highly charged time of sexual anticipation.  that's why we get pissed off and they can't figure out why we are so impatient.

That part of "just another business appointment" isn't true for all of us I hope you understand. Some of us also get highly charged with the anticipation. I had an appointment yesterday evening that was to be for 3 hours, we were having so much fun I was there for almost 5 hours. (no the fee didn't change with the extra time) I'm guessing here, but I think we (the providers) have a great deal more no-shows or late cancellations than you guys do.

By the way I am not a VIP member, if you email me through TER I can't retrieve it. Please email me at [email protected]

I also believe that many "providers" really do enjoy the work they are in beyond the monetary compensation.  That is a huge plus for us guys!  Aside from what the lady gives up in her private life due to her "very private" work, it is a great line of work to be in.  I've told one provider that if I was a beautiful lady I would be an escort in a New York minute.  My hat's off to you wonderful ladies who are willing to put up with some facets of your job that are not so appetizing -- like the fact that there is something a little off kilter with most of your clients.  We are not the perfect guy you want to take home to your father for his approval usually.  Naturally, that takes an emotional toll on you.  Thanks for your patience in working with us.

I do understand you were speaking in Generalities, I just didn't want you to think there aren't exceptions. Which I'm sure you knew before I pointed that out. :-) At least for me it isn't the facets of clients being off kilter that is tough. It is working out the timing of getting time off of the 8-5 job, making sure all of the ducks at home are in a row and the excuse as to why I'm not at home won't blow up in my face. And after all of that to have the appointment have to cancel at the last min. Or for that matter, get all of those items taken care of to make a road trip, only to find no one is looking for company in that area on those dates. So with all of that said, this isn't the easiest way to make a living, nor is it the easiest way for guys to find fun either. But once it all works out timing wise, MAN it can be the greatest enjoyment around.

I really would like the chance to meet you someday. :-)

but, staying with the traditions of this great community, I think the one who asks for the appointment is the one who pays the fee. lol. If it works out, I promise I will not Diss you Sweetie.  What time and date are you thinking of?  I will check my schedule then and get back to you. hehehe.

:-) I'm thinking I need to watch my wording very carefully here. I really don't want to start something I may not be able to finish. At least not in a public forum such as this. I've just read some of your postings and found you to be intriguing. Email me sometime, maybe we can work something out. hehe

I will give her do time for the reason for the no show, who knows there may have been a good excuse. If I don't hear from her
soon I will let you know who the perpetrator was.

A good excuse may be followed by a great reward?

Twice in one week. This time it was a contractor to give a bid on some major remodeling. With email and cell phones, what is the damn problem. I think I'll just drink, the hell with it.

I guess you will have to do what you have to do, but take it from someone who has significant experience in this biz.  If you bitch about it too much you will definitely be the loser.  These ladies know that there are plenty of gentlemen out here who are not bitching.  Even though they may know that they inconvenienced you, they will gladly just move on.  It's less troublesome than to stay and take the heat for an honest mistake.  I'm beginning to think that maybe you need a chill pill.  Also, when we bitch too much we repel the ladies from wanting to see us in the future.  That may be true of the remodeling contractor as well.  I would suggest easing up a bit.  There is usually a reason why someone does not show up for an appointment.  Nobody is perfect.  And if you are not understanding of their situation you will end up paying the price.  I know it is difficult to understand that you may be suffering from paranoia when you're convinced that every one is against you.  Well, that's my 2 cents worth.  Hope it helps.
