Do you think these are for real?  I've seen these once or twice, but this ad is too good to pass up if it's true.

I've seen these ads also. I always wonder when you not sending to a phone number??

There was a follow-up post on Craigs some time in the last month or so saying that this is a scam. Somehow or another (I don't even know how to sent a text message on my phone) the post said your cell account gets back charged $, $$, $$$. So, you do get screwed but it is a solo effort.

If someone could explain how this whole text messaging system works I would greatly appreciate it. I dont understand if this is like a phone chat network or what? PM me if you like or post here for everyone.

if you don't understand texting, then don't play with this until you do....  could be a couple of different scams
under no circumstances use a traceable phone....
there are no geographically specific details here and that leads me to think.... yes, it's too good to be true.  But I might try it and see what it is anyway.  Be safe.

I wouldn't do it.  They will have your phone number and you may be inadvertantly signing up for a text service that may be expensive, like 99 cents a message and then it is a hassle to get your provider to stop the messages.

Don't waste your money,, Someone is making money on the text message..
I have seen CL posts warning that this ad is a rip off!
