Maybe you misunderstood my original post but its been very close to four weeks since I first sent her my info.  Then there were three emails asking where things stood and providing additional references.  Then I sent my info again last week.  As you can see I did try to plan ahead.

I have filled out Catherine's contact form twice and sent numerous emails to ensure she received them over a period of at least three or four weeks.  I have never received a any response so I decided to post this meassage to see if this is a common occurance.  I have provided two references which I know will give me a good recommendations but still no response.  I visited with another provider today and she said she's never heard of someone filling out an appointment request and never hearing anything.  At this point I assume that I am wasting my time and have been rejected for whatever reason (I can't imagine why} but thought I would seek clarification.  Catherine sounds like a great provider in all respects so its a disappointment.  Feel free to PM me or post.  Thanks.  (The emails I sent were not returned and and I check my anti-spam folder before deleting so that's not the problem)

I've had the same experience as you.
She did mention on her web site that there would be a delay in her answersing e-mail - but 2-3 weeks seems like a long time.
she seems far to classy to not tell you she isn't interested.
maybe she is just that far behind.

There seems to be a trend of some of the real nice local girls not being able to keep up with their new client requests. I have had the same problem with some of the gals who I have not met,and have experienced quick replies from the gals I know very well. Its been whispered that if Catherine doesnt think that she would be a good match for you that she will kindly tell you. But it has also been noted in backchannel that she has been very busy with regulars and acedemics and has a hard time keeping up with emails/voice mails from new clients. I have not had a problem with her, but I see her and email with her very often. But when I was new it was hard for me to make that first contact with her.

Like most good providers they usually get in undated with emails and can not keep up with them.

As a general sense, the "business" aspect of theis hobby sometimes leaves a bit to be desired.  we would all like in a ideal world to get a return phone call or email within the same day or sooner.

Best rule of thumb is when trying to see a provider for the first time to plan far enough in advance. I have found that if I want to try and see someone last minute, it usually is not going to happen unless someone has a cancelation.

She has announced her retirement to her regulars, so opportunities for newbies maybe limited, altho not out of the question.

She was answering emails today !!! Anyhow, she has announced her impending retirement so I'm not sure of future availability, besides it must be close to finals so I'm sure she's swamped.  You might try calling and leaving a message.  Oh well, my last scheduled appointment with Catherine The Great is tomorrow and I've been working out to get ready for the session.
