I called to Saturday AM to set up an appt with a well reviewed provider (her profile was just updated on Sunday with another good review)for that same day in the afternoon, said she had a personal grooming appt and could we make it a little later. no problem I said, she asked me to call back at an appointed time and when I did no response. I waited till the appt time and called again and she answered and said she was still at her pg appt. said I tought I asked you to call earlier, I of course said I did call at the time you requested.
Now; since I live way the hell out in the boonies I had to drive quite a ways to meet with this supposedly well reviewed provider so I'm willing to wait a little bit to make the meeting happen. She asked me to call back in half hour, I did call back and no answer, tried 15 miuntes later... no answer again. This is completely unnacceptable. I wait no longer.
Now if there was some reason why she didnt want to meet she could have and should have said something. I certainly would have understood, things happen... but to not respond to my calls, offer no explanation or call back is completely rude.
I will not out her on the board, but if anyone wants to save themsleves from wasting time with this nut case feel free to contact me. At this point I am thoroughly amazed at the amount of good reviews this provider has recevied.
for better or worse, shit happens -- even to providers. Maybe she got sick. Maybe her car broke down. Who knows? The fact that she's lasted in this biz for some period of time supports the view that she's reliable and that this was an exception. Outing her may unfairly damage her business. Giving guys the opportunity to protect themselves if she's indeed gone off the reservation is a fair way to deal with the issue.
My only suggestion: email or pm the lady now, and tell her your complaint and ask for an explanation. You deserve it. As well as an apology.
Good idea on the phone numbers but at a certain point it's also a good idea to admit it's not going to work and try again another day. As unhappy as it may be to end up with nothing for all your running around, it can be even worse to end up with an experience that feeling like "I went to all this trouble just for that!"
It's really annoying when a provider says she's coming over and then never shows. If she doesn't want to see me, I'd appreciate it if she didn't lead me on like that. I figure she probably thought I was LE or a young kid or something.
The best excuse I got from a provider: Oh sorry hon, I smoked up a big fattie before coming to see you and just fell asleep!
