really doubt it

I really don't think a p411 discount is meant to be added onto a special discount. Especially if either discounts are in any way significant (say, seasonal 75 off plus p411 30 off equaling 105).. just take the better one off and be happy she's discounting at all. Though I guess it doesn't hurt to ask the provider herself. I don't think most would be insulted (she might think you're cheap, but she won't be insulted per se. It is her choice to offer discounts.)

With the holiday season and discounts/specials abound with providers wanting our business, and of course us guys wanting the best bang for our buck. My question is if a provider is offering a seasonal special, a P411 dicount, and say a discount for certain days/hours, are the all cumulative? I don't feel comfortable asking and don't want to insult or 'short' a provider. What do you other guys do? Provider thoughts more than welcome!!

That's why I'm asking, I don't want to be cheap, but at same time don't want to spend more than necessary either. Tipping, if deserved, is extra. If you went into a store and an item you wanted was on sale for 20% off, and you had a coupon for $10 for that item, and the store offered a 2% discount if you used their credit card, then what? Do just take the 20% and not use your coupon and pay cash? Just wondering??

But if the boundaries are unclear it never hurts to ask. Better to do so than deal with the drama that often comes along with assuming.

If I don't specify the rules surrounding special offers that's on me & I have no one to blame but myself if I am gifted less than expected, or you have to ask me to clarify. Nor would I consider you "cheap." I would appreciate you having the consideration to want to be sure there are no misunderstandings.

I would suggest thoroughly reading the provider's ads & website. Sometimes the answer will be found on one or the other rather than both. If it is still unclear, PLEASE ask away

Well said Leann, i can defiantly see how one could be confused. Although i rather not ever discuss donation if you are uncertain feel free to ask, you will not be considered "cheap" ;)

Typically store coupons have clauses (found in the small print) stating that coupons can't be combined with other discounts.

It just depends on the store and its specific policies. If no fine print, I would ask- stores are different and there's no blanket rule (same goes for providers.)

Anyway, I don't think you are cheap for asking for clarification, but I can tell that you are aware (as am I) that sometimes people get offended when money is mentioned at all- in any context. Probably not people you want to deal with anyway though.

Pick your promo man.  it is one or the other.  If you have ever shopped 95% time offers are not combinable.  Did you really need to ask.  My feeling is if you did you might need another hobby.
