Here's one of my pet peeves, since we're talking about that, instead of trying to help out the OP: the incorrect use of apostrophes. For example, the word "its" is a possessive, as in, "The dog licked its balls." No need for an apostrophe. When you're contracting the two words "it" and "is," to the word "it's," on the other hand, as in, "Sorry, it's just one of my pet peeves," then you do need an apostrophe, and when you don't use one, you really look stupid.
Plus, it's like fingernails on a chalkboard, like using a specific term incorrectly in the technical sense, even when common usage has transformed its definition. Yeah, that's rough, because you never see spelling, grammatical, or usage errors on internet forums (or fora, for you purists out there). If you did, though, you might see so many of them that you reached a level of acceptance instead of trying to shovel back the tide, and just try to achieve reading comprehension so you could contribute meaningfully, instead of just pissing people off.
Well, haters gonna hate, as they say. It's part of being a member on an extremely great site like this; for all the great contributors, there are definitely some bad apples. It won't make me give up VIP; it's still a great deal at this price point.
