CHICAGO is a GREAT place to work!

I love love love Chicago. And NYC - DC - and Boston ! OMG Boston men are fabulous. So are LA men, but I'm not keen on the nice weather there. Lol.

Airfare is super cheap to Chicago.

Advice on Chicago---

If you stay downtown you should charge more because hotel rates are ridiculous

I prefer Ohare Rosemont or Schaumburg area or Oakbrook even though i get asked to go downtown a lot. I don't go though. (Super pricey hotels)

And give EXTRA time between appointments as traffic there is TERRIBLE and Many are a little late in arriving due to that

Advertise early

Sign up for RoomService2000 is almost a MUST -- 75% of the guys use it and it's great for screening and advertisers
I met the owner of the site at a meet n greet there and she's wonderful

you can do the standard "per verification" fee that they have.... Just go on their website and find where you can sign up. They are super helpful in giving you your options.

I recommend the annual fee that covers ALL advertising no matter where you go and also unlimited verifications. That's what I do, and it's so worth it!! But I visit other cities that use it more than Mpls/St Paul (DC is quite RS2K friendly)
However, membership has increased for this area in the past few years.

Chicago metro has a population of 9 million.
think about that. 9 million.
it's like Minneapolis/St Paul on STEROIDS!

I'm going there in December. I go there 4 times a year for sure....and love it there.

HOWEVER, not everyone I know feels the same way about Chicago.

YOU got a nice response on the Chicago Board.

You should go there. Just do like 2 or 3 days for your first trip

You know how to advertise yourself. You'll be fine
