It's not a matter of being judgmental.  The reality is that there many, many ads on BP that use fake pics or the people behind them don't provide much of service.  Not all of course; there are many excellent providers who use BP.  But figuring out who's legit and who is not is, as Bosco said, a crap shoot.

Let me break this up into bite sized pieces. 1."Many are fine..."   My favorites advertise on BP.
2. "many others use fake photos and all manner of deceivery. It can be a crap shoot."  Look at all the tineye reports on this board from Backpage and other sites. I rest my case.   3.  "Glad I'm not your type." Not as glad as I am.

I don't think that's judgmental.  He said some are good; some are bad.  A judgmental statement is one that stereotypes all people in a group, based on a limited or misconstrued piece of information.  If a guy has a bad experience with a provider he found on Backpage, it is non-judgmental to say, "She was a bad apple.  Not all other providers are like her."  However, the judgmental response is to assume all Backpage providers are the same as the one bad experience.

And, I agree.  It can be a crapshoot.  That is why TER is such a great tool in helping to weed out the deceptive ladies.

Don't get bent out of shape over the phrase "BackPage lady"... as stated earlier, it's not that every lady on BackPage is bad.  Some of them, in fact, are really great!  But there are plenty there with fake pics, rush-rush sessions, NCNS, or flat-out scam artists.  Those are the types we're referring to with the phrase, and as he said, it really can be a crap shoot.  Girls, of course, will tell you their pics are real, right up until you walk in the door and find out for yourself.  If a girl advertises on other sites, especially "more reputable" ones like P411, RS2K, or Eros, she is unlikely to be a "BackPage Lady".  (Although IMHO "Cityvibe Lady" could mean basically the same thing!  But again, that doesn't mean everyone there is bad!)
