The peace of mind that the new provider I'm going to meet is legit and not a LE scam is worth it to me. Not to mention that there is so much information available that allows me to find exactly the kind of lady I'm looking for. I do not hobby that often and when I do I want it to always be a great time. So far, with the help of TER, it has been.
TER is safer than Backpage and Craigslist. The extra $180 a year or $90 3 month payment is well worth it. You're paying to have PM, getting to know other people in this hobby, and learning about a provider before you give her the donation.
It's especially safe because we can communicate who is safe and who is not. If a lady is known for NCNS it's posted. If a man is known to abuse women, that gets posted as well. We're just giving back to the site that helps us out.

Anya's right you cheap jerks! Go ahead and mingle with LE. The price for a VIP is cheap compared to the issues you could get into! Everyone thinks everything should be free, what a joke. This site keeps most of us very safe in this hobby. Thanks for your opinion anya!
I was just bummed they pulled the performance rating from the general view. I really don't care to have a VIP membership had one and just don't see the need for it anymore. Just to many ways to track a person down. Bad enough they watch all the ip addresses, for obvious reasons.
Who would ever think that LE was using TER as well, not like half the ads on BP and CL don't have links to it. I am sure LE hasn't become aware of it yet........................
Like TER is some 'safehaven' sent from above.. LE is everywhere, ter is no safer than BP, CL or my ass.. bunch of naive MOFO's OHH it's worth the money if i just pay ter, i'll be safe...GROW THE F_ UP!
I'm with Anya. It's not perfect, but it's the best we've got. And if you think it has value to you -- as you must do, or you wouldn't be upset about the change --then please pay for it like the rest of us.
Anya you sound like a nice gal but I am afraid you are only seeing TER from your side of the aisle.
TER is quite obviously not as safe as indicated, all one has to do is have paid attention to LE actions in the last year or so.
Also, TER may be fantastic for providers, but it falls WAY short for others.
Why? Bad, BAD, experiences with providers that members try to post honest reviews on are DENIED. Bad reviews that get through the system for awhile are later PULLED.
It is--IMO--not at all a fool proof system anymore, if it ever was.
