Think whatever you like, I know my facts & the NorthLand is quite different than the cities. And to try to compare the two is a bit idiotic. And yes the guys are calling le. If you had someone point a gun at your head demanding money you might feel a little differently.  Up north they have nothing BUT time & money.

The original poster, with the alias BlowYourMind, has only two posts in the last 300 days.  Interestingly, both were about the penalties of getting caught in prostitution stings.  And, to suggest that a three week old bust, with no news since, might be a state wide thing is a bit of a needless dire warning.

Certainly, I am not sure, but it sounds a bit like something LE would do, just trying to keep everyone nervous.  

Just my humble 2Cents.

Only 2% of LE spending goes to vice.  And, if you wish to aim your slurs correctly, LE only enforces the laws - they do not make them.  Bacon?  You child!.

Exactly.  They don't have the time the money or the man power to catch every single person out there
Nor do they have any power over anyone on these discussion boards to scare people off.
You can't totally foolproof your way out of getting popped but
can only do your best to avoid LE & avoid talking to LE. They are not the court.
Furthermore you guys gotta take a look at LE's off duty forums
Talk about freaks!
On average most dirty cops keep more of the raunchiest porn on their pc's then the average hobbyist does.
They make some of you sexy gentlemen look tame  :D

I was "Up North" and for those who do not realize it, oh yes hell they do have a member of their squad constantly on various sites attempting to do whatever is on their agenda. It started in Soup Town, they have a few full-timers who just play online their entire shift seeing what they can learn & set up.
For those of you silly enough to think they don't have the money, ya better think again, BECAUSE yes, they do have the funds! Its all from the wonderful govt. in an effort to cut down on human-trafficking of teenage prostitution. Don't ya watch the news or at least read it???
I played in the northern area for a few years, it was nice & le was not much of an issue until this year. When they announced their new task force to battle teen prostitution. Do they try to "scare" people HELL YES! its their sick way of doing things...
You have to be smarter than the average bear IF you are going to play. Stick to well-reviewed lady who are over 21. The young girls up north are causing lots of issues. I was told by a reliable hotel front desk staff that the reason the task force is so hot & heavy was because the young girls were robbing men & the men were starting to complain. Think with the head on your shoulders!

You can find almost everything I have stated here via Google.

In the past I have posted links. And the last time I posted a warning with a link it caused me unwanted attention.  So I won't do it again.  Simply put the NorthLand is not a friendly playground.  The task force is out to prove a point & to make headlines. They are ALL over up there. Superior, Duluth, Hermantown, Cloquet, Proctor & especially Canal Park. I left there for a safer playground. I only posted because there seems to be people who do not grasp the amount of time the officers are willing to spend to make their point & they have plenty of funding to carry on.  Superior has a dedicated squad that sit online their entire shift playing online.

...I can post an angry emoticon too.  However, separate from the "old" Cloquet story, I know that a provider up north was busted, apparently by this same fed/local tag team. I believe this is a wider and ongoing effort by LE, ostensibly targeting forced human trafficking.

And "sounds like this could be statewide" is based entirely on your personal belief? Even when the task force mentioned in the June articles is regional in nature?

While the June arrests serve as a cautionary tale reminding all of us to always be careful, I find your cryptic "warnings" less than useful.

Weren't the busts using the guise of "human trafficking " already beaten to death on this board?
There's a huge difference between a bunch of underaged girls forced into prostitution and a bunch of underaged girls with "boyfriends" intending on robbing people. Serious?
A bunch of Guy's complained that they hired prostitutes and got robbed?
Seems a bit idiotic to me. Considering prostitution is illegal and all.
To be using human trafficking as a reason to scare hobbyists is just moot.
The human trafficking statistic numbers are way off and not enough
to convince me that its "blown up so exponentially in Mn to require that much time & tax money spent on busting a mediocre number of NINE people in a small town.
Down here IF they really had the man power & funding to shut every suspected prostitution ring down then
Every MP in the 5th precinct would be closed about now because its actually illegal to run one as of a few yrs back.
