Likewise I prefer being low traffic the less noticeable, the better.
I do know the people cited for obstruction were warning gents of the sting going on.
The thing that bothers me is the decoys they used are not anywhere near like the current SW's on E lake.
Idk I would be highly suspect if new "green " girls  just showed up on the stroll put of the blue if I were mongering there regularly.

The sting was initiated in response to complaints from neighborhood residents. This doesn't just happen to "street walkers." High volume providers are just as susceptible. The very reason why I personally only accept one appointment request per day & don't see gents everyday of the week.

MINNEAPOLIS - A recent prostitution sting operation in the 3rd precinct of Minneapolis ended with dozens of alleged customers being cited and more than 20 vehicles being seized.

Along with the citations issued, 23 vehicles were also seized. A vehicle seizure is the first legal step in a forfeiture process when a vehicle is used in the commission of certain crime. Ultimately, the owner could ultimately lose ownership of the car.

Here is a breakdown of the arrests:

Prostitution/John arrests: 53
Narcotics arrests: 3
Promoting prostitution: 1
Misdemeanor arrests: 2 obstructing, 5 loiterin

Under what circumstances can that happen - just by driving to the outcall location?

All these we for guys trying to pick up street walkers!

...that would be almost as terrible as Poppy's bottom getting impounded.

The very point of this post. I have been amazed over time at how many Minnesotans are unaware that in Mn ANY property used in the commission of a crime is legally subject to seizure.

Seems arbitrary to pick on someone's car. Why not their shoes?

Seems more apt to somehow deprive them of the use of their gentleman vegetables...

I'm not from MN so am unused to some of the strange ways justification is found to harass sex workers and their clients.

A potential $30,000 fine seems excessive and unreasonable.  If you kill someone, it is probably $500.

I'm guessing they have a kicking party at the end of the year.  Or worse yet, have this budgeted in as income like traffic tickets; taxation by citation.

Just from reading the article online, I figured that the sting was targeting johns who picked up street walkers. If the sting was operating from a regular incall, they wouldn't specifically target guys who came only during the lunch hour or at night unless that was the only time incall was staffed with LE.

Johns who tried to pickup street walkers (actually a cop) from their car are in the process of having their vehicle seized.

Seizing personal property acquired from committing crimes or used to commit crimes is legal and happens a lot. Feds mostly do it with agency busts. In rare cases I have heard it happen with indy busts but never from simply driving to her incall. It could happen however

I noticed a ton of new ads on bp over the last few days ... Not like 4 or 5 but 20 or more.

Many new ads in the massage area. Not sayin they were LE but normally when I post there may be 4 to 5 post after me in the next hour or so ... This week there were over 30 in an hour. Most of them ones I had never seen.

Feel bad for the guys!!! I used to hate when people on here would comment about not seeing a girl who has no reviews but that was because I didn't have but 1 ... Still only have 4 on here but others on another couple of sites ... I get it now ... Good to be smart and safe ... Ty TER

The news said they were all over East Lake Street.

Is ot conceivable that le could go as far as posting fake reviews here to draw in hobbyists?

They have & the way this particular sting came to be was from another site.
I personally dislike the other site because they continue to post stalker shots of the SW's & post way way to much info about ladies they visit without any thought about safety.  Very stupid!!
