So, I've been at this a little while now and enjoying it nicely....but I can't help but think that a little boost now and again would be nice.

It's not that I need the 'little blue pill' or anything, the Jolly Roger stands at attention when pressed into service.  But I think I look forward to my encounters more if I had a gentle leg up.  Besides, I can't bear the thought of a trip to the ER for an over the top erection. Much too unseemly.

Of course, just when you need it most this is where Google fails me.  I can find plenty of crap and little in the way of solid advice.

So my fellow hobbyists, what's a 40 something to do?  Short of a prescription, what herbs, spices and other advice do you have for a guy who'd like to regain his flagging youth?  And, where can one acquire the needed ingredient?

Alas, no VIP now so, don't PM - alias acceptable for those desiring anonymity. All advice appreciated.

I wish Mr bendover were still lurking around because he is an expert on the subject. One thing for sure is to avoid Asparagus because it makes your cum taste nasty.

a quick search gives you a few options:

* Kola vera works to increase energy levels short-term. It’s a stimulant that helps enhance sexual performance.

* Lirosma ovata has been shown in scientific studies to actually increase a person’s desire for sex. Other studies suggest it’s an effective treatment for erectile dysfunction, the primary symptom of impotence.

* Fucus vesiculosis is an excellent source of many important minerals. This sea vegetable contains iodine. Iodine is necessary for the production of thyroid hormones and thyroid hormones are responsible for proper cell metabolism.

* Glycoirrhiza glabra facilitates stimulation of the adrenal cortex and assists in the production of the hormone hydrocortisone.

* Sabal serrulata treats the symptoms of impotence resulting from an enlarged prostate.

* Smilax ornata is a tonic with rejuvenating properties designed to stimulate sexual potency and assist in the production of hormones.

* Eleutherococcus senticosis is an all-over toner containing ginsenosides which help to improve the flow of blood throughout the body and especially to the penis. Improved blood flow increases overall energy and sexual vitality.

* Turnaria aphrodisiaca increases the libido by stimulating the nervous system.

BE CAREFUL!!!!

Just get a Viagra prescription and cut the pills into smaller pieces with a pill chopper.

but make no mistake, just becuase it's natural, does NOT mean that it is safe. The one herb that you want to steer clear of is Yohimbe. Yes, it works, but has been tied to liver and kidney issues, and its sale has been banned in many countries.

Some that work are Epimedia Sagittatum, (Horny Goat Weed) and Eurycoma Longifolia. (LJ100 or Tongkat Ali) Both are available in extract form, or loose leaf, which can be made into tea. I've read that the safest and most efficient way to use them is to have a cup or two of tea each day, rather than taking the extract, which is a much higher concentration.

One consideration is, just like any drug, you should consult your doctor before taking any herbs, for any reason. There could be any number of underlying health reasons for you NOT to take them.

. . . there's always good ol' diet and exercise, but that's not the easiest.

Comes down to blood flow, right? Decrease the fatty foods and unclog the blood vessels. Increase the exercise and get the blood flowing. Weight workouts with moderately heavy weights increase testosterone production.
