I personally think downtown Mpls is the best choice. Lots of people coming and going. TONS of business travelers. You have the skyway system and you can get anything you need without even going outside. Lots to do. And you can take the light rail to the MOA if you want to visit and/or do some shopping.
I think many providers who DO visit do stay in the MOA area. I'd rather be on a path less traveled, but that's just me.
