Criticizing ideas & opinions is a normal process of debate & each person should expect to have ideas challenged. That being said, personal attacks such as denigration of another person's character or value have no place in such discussions.

... for discussion boards and reviews. Demeaning terms are expressly prohibited in reviews.  Interestingly, "whore" and its derivatives aren't specifically mentioned. But there's no such restriction on the boards... just that posts shouldn't be just mean, reveal sensitive information about someone, or use "foul" language. It's not clear what's meant by "foul" language, but based on history Admin doesn't consider "whore" to be foul language.  

I thought we all were adults here.  What happened to our thick skin?    Seriously, if being called a "hoe" by some douchebag hobbyist who can't even spell the word right bothers us that much then we should not be in the hobby.  Believe me when I tell you this... the hobby and the behavior of the members of our community can be and,  in many cases,  is much much much worse than name calling.  Here's a shocker ---- this holds true even in MN!!    I have been called many a different name by many people.  Ultimately, it does not matter to me what anyone else thinks....it only matters what I think.

Oh I'm already ahead of you Kram-hole.  I'm in this world for one person only.  Numero Uno.  I post both when I agree with Talon and when I don't agree with Talon or anyone else.  That's who I am.  I really think you should focus your energy on bigger fish than Talon.  He may be young, dumb, and full of...donation cash evidently but there are more pressing issues that could be discussed.  Your new buddy is one of the big issues so my advice is be careful who you talk to.  Another pressing issue is indy vs the ever increasing centralization of appointment making.  We could also go on for the rest of the week talking about reviews for hire, multiple handles, aliases, ISO's as a means to advertise, oh there is a bunch of stuff.  Should we open up a real discussion guy?
