....how do we know if this is not an LE sting operation, where hobbyists are unknowingly providing their contact info to our friends in blue, who have conveniently setup a website ?
It is connected. Just have to be so very careful. But what is the point of the first girl in placing an ad if no contact information is provided? The game of cat and mouse.
I do agree about the cat-and-mouse part. I dislike such games, to be quite frank. Either provide a clear and unambiguous way of getting in touch or just don't post at all.
However, I still don't see the connection in the above post, where an unrelated provider's listing is shown, where there clearly seems to be issues.
What has that got to do with this particular ad that you referenced in the original post ?
It's a scam. If you respond to the ad, you'll get an email, which basically points to a website http://www.megandfriends.com. Then you'll find that you are asked to pay $50 to get the contact of any of the hot girls. Similar ads have been found on BP from time to time, and all point to the same website.
The question is, is it really a scam ? In other words, after we pay the $50 at the website, does it lead to a meeting ? If so, then that is fine with me. But if after the $50, if it does not lead to anything, then that certainly is a problem and is a scam.
So to summarize, has anyone paid the $50 and has it yielded the expected results ? Or was that $50 sent down the drain ?
