Nearly all of the ladies I really want to see seem to be references only providers, or questionable with no reviews. Two, of the few that aren't, I called hoping would be OK and possibly provide references, never called back or had a bad number. Two weeks after deciding to take up the hobby and I've yet to connect with anyone. I must be doomed to be alone or start taking risks. Getting started in this seems to be a lot more challenging than I anticipated. I might have to call the chick with the gun I saw earlier...she probably doesn't worry about references. LOL

Have you considered a reference service such as P411 (and various others) or developing a list of providers whose verification is something you can work with and then trying to break in that way?  Just some things for you to consider.

Luck runs in streaks and after a while you'll pick up on the subtle little cues that you both give and get that improve things a little bit.  

Prospecting is hard no matter what. I've sat with a list of 8-9 phone numbers and been unable to get so much as an answer or a call back.  Then last night I got NCNS'd so I thought I'd take a chance on finding someone on short notice. Called two numbers, (both real high draft choices) the second picked up and was available. Then the first called back and was also available.

Way to help the guy out TCButman.  I am glad that you embrace the spirit of cooperation and information that this board provides.

The guy was asking a simple question and needs a hand.  He was not out of line.  If you don't want to help, just move on.

Try Anastasia, she will always  treat you right and she provides references.  Or you could try one of the providers that posts 10,000 times a week on our board.  They must be hard up for new clients since they have to get their pictures on this forum in every other post.

Funny part about that one Nago. Two of them are ones I'd like to see, going strictly off of reviews and personality (Delilah and Samantha Good) but both require references. Samantha Good seems to be nothing short of amazing judging by posts/reviews. Delilah seems like she's pretty cool from her posts. Also, anyone ever read her blog. Pretty good readin' there. Another is MsKristin (not sure if that's spelled right) but she only does 2 hr minimum on weekends (I can't on weekdays) ...$500+ is bit steep for me. Thought about Foxxxie or Kyla a cpl weeks back, but apparently they aren't from here and were just visiting. LOL Batting zero so far. Hopefully my luck will change. Thanks for the post tho. I'll look up Anastasia. Someone else PM'd me and said Maya as well and judging from posts people think very highly of her.

It took me a while to get a local provider to see me but that was partially due to timing this summer with all of the LE drama.

I eventually joined P411 but have found that most providers want references as well as P411 so I'm not convinced yet of the value but it can't hurt, especially for a newbie.

Be honest, thoughtful and sincere in your messages to providers and keep trying. There are lots of nice ladies around here. C'mon ladies, prove me right and help the boy out...
